going through the toshley's transporter made me transform into a Gnome for an hour. Best hour of my Warcraft life

That's awesome!
I really wish Blizz would just say 'to hell with lore' for once (seems they mutter it under their breath every so often already anyway...) and let us have gnome hunters.

They already exist in game (sort of), so I don't get why they even try that excuse anyway =P

NPC gnome hunters in Gnomeregan? Perhaps that's one of those subtle, slow intros to the race/class combo that we've seen before, and Blizz will actually give us 'em down the line? /hopeful.
Nice catch Shadow, I gotta admit it was all so chaotic when I did it that I didn't even notice the NPCs... Hell, even if I had tried, the massive AOE spell effects slowed my comp to a crawl.

I hope so too, I have room for one more hunter I'm saving just in case ^-^
Yeah, I didn't notice till the second time I went through when I had more time to look around and pay attention to things Plus I was on my hunter and her pet kept getting close to death so I was standing farther back than the first time trying to keep her safe.

One can only hope. Perhaps its a hidden class that they havent announced for Cata and it will be a super suprize!

i would die laughing on if they made quests on * how to not be eaten * quests for gnome hunters. i can see that happening

Yes, they are. And I don't know what the big deal about their size is, anyway. I'm pretty sure that from a devilsaurs perspective the only difference between a gnome and a tauren is that the tauren is actually worth eating. Or do you think that King Krush looks a tauren and goes "OMG! That thing nearly reaches up to my knee! RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!"
