Hehe... October 29th, we will be having a guild event that is a contest of sorts, with the total prize money being 1,000 gold.

Details are being worked out now! Clear your schedules! Kidnap whoever needs kidnapping for a few weeks so you can show up!

We're having a Gnaked Gnome Relay Race!

This event will be held on the realm of US Duskwood! All entering contestants shall make a new, level 1 gnome, on this realm. Then, with two other team members, you shall pass an item to the next person on your team at their designated location, who will then run off to find the next member and pass it.

I will need several people to create death knights on this realm, and get them up so they can run around with the gnomes, and wait at locations, to make sure there is no cheating, and to supervise the entire race. Please send me a PM if you are planning to participate in this manner.

Here is a breakdown of what will happen during the event night, 29, October, 2010, 8:00 PM.

- All gnome participants will show up in Dun Morogh, at their starting area. Guild invites will go out, and tabards will be handed out.

- Death Knights will get into position. A few will be following the gnomes, a few will be at select locations.

- The middle and last gnomes will be escorted to their locations. This may take a little while, so don't show up expecting to GO GO GO ASAP.

- Once everyone is in position, and we confirm noone else is showing up, we will begin the relay race. The first gnomes will be given their item, and start heading for their second gnome. Death Knights following the first gnomes will be there simply as observers.

- After the first pass is done, the second gnome will make their way to the third, same as the first to second.

- When the item is passed to the third gnome, they will be asked to take the item to a death knight, who will be in a particularly hard area to reach.

- The first team to get their item to that death knight will recieve a pot of 1,000 gold to share amongst themselves, courtesy of Ketcha.

Things you will NOT allowed to do in the race (as a gnome):
- Rez at the spirit healer.
- Teleport in any way.
- Ride on someone else's mount.
- Take a flight path.
- Use any kind of speed boosting method.
- Have water walking.

Things you will NOT allowed to do in the race (as a death knight):
- Kill things going after the gnomes.
- Rez the gnomes in any way.
- Use path of frost to assist them.
- Heal them in any way.

Haha, this reminds me of the Tirisfal to Gadgetzan race we had in my old guild. The alliance so didn't know what the hell was going on when the place got invaded by some 20+ horde level 2s and 3s with an attitude. =D
