I know those. A while ago a person released a skin patch that you could download. Although it's technically against the ToS using it. X) Most people used it for Tauren druids due to their old stupid skin. XD

Whoa! Nice!! although that looks more like the night elf and tauren.

Yep! I used these for a while on my old tauren druid, before I got all nervous about Blizz finding out and deleting my account. Fun times!

Because they are. XD But I can see them applied to worgen and trolls easily enough too I suppose. But yeah, originally designed for the old druids who were sick of the ulgy forms back in the day. I still have the link for the webpage actually, although it's on a less than reputable website and is discontinued.

I like the new models, from Blizz. But, yes, I've been aware of these for quite some time.

The Travel Forms could definitely use an upgrade.

Altho the travel forms look cool, I couldn't really see them as being the travel form. Travel form looks like a cheetah, which obviously can haul butt, most other cats aren't real runners. But I do agree, travel form could use an upgrade. Maybe swim form too.

Blizz needs to hire some of these people. The things fans come up with are more often then not, much better then what blizz has. Fresh artistic blood is needed.

Some fan art has more detail than WoW itself does. One of the reasons WoW is still so widespread is that it's not too taxing on older computers. Art that good would hinder that. It'd be beautiful, but not everyone could see it. (Just ask the people on the board who can't see the new water.)

AFAIK, no modeledits at all work ATM. It seems we will need another one of those "fix" files, and nobody has made one of those yet. I'd expect one in amonth, maybe two.

Kalli is right. My computer can barely handle the new fire effects, let alone the water. In cities where the fire is razing from the horseman, my fps drops to 6-15fps.

With water? Oh I average 8 steady.

Besides.. the worgen and troll bear forms were already revealed- those would obviously have been for Cow and Nelf ... since worgen and trolls lack horns n all.

Travel form also has a hoof icon, meaning it was supposed to be something else, and even Aria has mentioned Travel was supposed to be a place holder model- and yes Cheetahs can haul butt, but they aren't long distance travelers. Something like a wolf, wildebeast, mule, etc, that can haul long and fast would be a better idea :p

Yeah, I heard originally they were planning on implementing a Stag of some sort of the travel form, hence the hoof, but I guess they were just lazy and left the placeholder Cheetah as the permanent form. x) Hopefully they update all the forms to have faction and/or race customization.

NElf Travel Form: Stag
Worgen Travel Form: ??
Troll Travel Form: Raptor?

Tauren would probably stay as Cheetah. Tallstrider would be funny, though!

No no no no and no, sorry.

Blizzard tries to, for the most part, make it fair to druids. It's why we all have the same flight form, the same bear form, cat form, travel, etc.

Snakes would also be a very bad choice of swimmers, just because snakes can swim doesn't mean all are aquatic animals. That and snake form is coveted by 'Druids of the Fang' who use it as their version of a cat form.

I was thinking about this latelly.
I think a manatee would fit better a Tauren swiming form. Manatees are also called "ox-fish" in portuguese.
For their travel form, stags would fit(hooves be hooves ).

As for NEs swiming form, all i could think about was a dolphin. That's a biased thought, since i dislike NElves.
Cheetahs are much more fitting for NElves.

For Trolls, an eel or a shark would be nice for swiming form.
Pterrordax as flight form

For worgen, the current aquatic form could be used, if upgraded. If you google "sea wolf" for images, you'll get quite some sea-leo images. Adding a small mane to the current model would be more worg-ish >:D

I always thought that Worgen should have canine based forms... Doberman for cat form, Greyhound for travel form...
