I read somewhere that with patch 3.3 anything with a 10 min cooldown no longer works thereby making the HoP useless in BGS, is that true?

This certainly seems odd, every other class gets to keep their resses. Even Druids, who have a rather long cd.

I'll have to check this however.

Huh, sounds odd. I'd think even if HotP doesn't work in BGs, Blizz would see it as a problem and fix it.

Ok sorry, I read that it included BGs on the wow forum, but here's the info from wow itself concerning arenas:

Arenas
All abilities that have base cooldowns of 10 minutes or longer cannot be used in Arenas, down from 15 minutes. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/

Kinda takes out a really nice ability from the ferocity tree, imo anyway.

Tested in a BG and an arena.

Works in the bg, not the arena.

Thanks for trying it out for me. I don't have a pet with enough talent points to have it yet. I'm glad to hear it still works in BGs at least.
