World of Warcraft already has 10 classes, which are pretty diverse. We might see more in the future--maybe hero classes, and maybe not. Maybe there won't be any more (though I doubt that).

Bit if you could choose, what would you want?

All I can say is BARDS. Seriously. Bards! In the other MMO games I've seen there are always pure-buff classes. Why doesn't WoW have one? The closest 'buff class' would probably be a paladin for the 4-or-so blessings they can give, but those don't last long and they're just part of the pally package. I'm talking an all-out BUFF CLASS that specializes in all types of improvements and powerups. I can already think of two branches too; the 'swashbuckler' tree for those more interested in melee dps (again probably dependent upon self-buffs), and maybe a super-buff tree, where you specialize in raid-wide powerups for all sorts.

I know Bliz joked about the Bard class during April Fools, but seriously...this would be such an awesome class!

Anyway, other classes?

De Coursair from FFXI or a class like it...

De abilities were random, ya cast de spell and dese cards would spin giving you a numba, bigger de numba de more powerful de spell. If you don't like you could spin again but if de numbas add up higher den 11 you busted and got de debuff.

I can't help but think it would be rather neat if Engineer could be a class.

You would have mechanical attacks, probably some sort of hybrid between melee and ranged, and you could build robotic minions to aid you. x)

Aw, if I could get something like blue mage from FFXI.

I LOVED that class. It was like. Just. So. Fun.

You went out. And instead of learning spells the normal way, you had to fight certain beasts. And these certain beasts have spells, like some do in WoW. If the beast used this spell during the fight, and you kill it, you had a chance yourself to learn that spell.

It was SO fun running around, getting all these different spells.

Not to mention you equipped the spells like armor, and they all gave certain stat boosts. So you could, say, equip a bunch of ones with caster stats and be mostly a caster play style. Or you could equip melee ones and have at it with the melee.

It was just so epic.

That would be awesome! Especially if they summoned some Voodoo loa or familiars instead of the typical demons.

I always wished Trolls had a Witch Doctor sort of class...something between a shadow priest/shaman/warlock.

Hm, I have no ideas of my own, but a certain guildie of mine likes to go on about a cloth wearing, melee spellcaster. Or a plate spellcaster, so that holy pally gear would be useful to another class.

Myself, I have no idea... I totally second that Witch Doctor notion, though.

they are druids that are always in a animal form and never come out they know human behavoir but are always acting like animals they. they even live with thier animals forms and it is rare that they go into thier human forms

I'd love to see the hunter taming mechanics expand. (Yeah, you could probably guess that about me, eh?) Warlocks who could really tame demons, engineers who could tame mechanicals, entomologists who could tame unspecified creatures ...

Or just specs for hunters to do those things, I guess.

I'd like a dragon tamer class or a really cool healing class of some kind, but I feel for blizz its hard to make a new class and make sure old ones don't feel out staged at the same time.

I'd name mine Jaxom.

Archdruid would be nice and a Heroic Ranger, an archer like a Hunter but more powerful and without pets. (If they could get pets too, All the Hunters would reroll lol)

dragonkin i think?? it's in WoW lore but not in the acual game

Put those two in and I'd be one very happy wow player.

With the fan expansion I've been workin on, I'd added five new classes. None are hero classes though.
