Just started this quest line, will be my first char to complete it which I hope I do. D: 20 days.... it sure seems like a long time doesn't it?

It goes by fast. And the quests take 5 minutes of your time. Max.

Also its a (relatively) fast way to get the Winterspring mount if you switch to alliance.

It's super easy - sure there's a wait but at least you won't have to run back and forth, killing countless furbolgs, chimaeras, and giants. And something else... bears? Grrrrr.... those quests are making me hate Winterspring, and I love that place!

No, it doesn't. I'm on a day 13 by now, and it feels as if I just started. It's quick, easy and diverse enough. I'm sure it'll be over before I notice.

I must say I found the Sholazar waygate extremely useful while I was doing my Ravasaur dailies. Even better the times when we held Wintergrasp since I could take the port to WG, then just a short flight down to Sholazar, through to Un'goro, and then hearth back. Took no time at all really!

I guess come Cataclysm and old-world flying it will even be possible to pop back up to Sholazar easily this way!

I'm getting this mount, because I thought it would be kind of an awesome thing for a survival hunter to have I mean they use poisons/traps etc and the NPC who starts the quests says:

The Venomhide Ravasaurs, they're all poison: Poison blood, poison spit, poison skin. You climb on one, you fall off dead in a few hours.

So I kind of imagine my hunter riding around on a giant poison arrow making factory. D:

Top tip for those without slowfall (for scholozar basin portal) - There's a portal in Dalaran to the Caverns of time - saves HOURS of flight path time

I use the SB port even on characters without engineering/immunities/slowfall. It's not a fatal drop to the shelf below.

That said, I used the CoT port myself for the mount quests. ^_^

For some reason the SB portal doesn't work for me, although I did the quest that makes use of it. You just step into it, right? When I do, nothing happens.

It can be a little tricky to trigger sometimes. I've been able to fly through it without triggering it, but walking through on the ground generally works.

I've done this questline on 3 toons so far, and each time I've just set my hearthstone to Gadgeztran. Two of the daily feeding quests are in Tanaris anyway, and it's a short flight back to Un'goro for the others.

I'd level a Horde just for that mount someday. <3 But best of luck, friend!

You can teleport directly to Un'Goro from Sholozar. Saves even more time then Caverns of Time teleport.

Only if you've finished the questline involving the Avatar of Freya, or at the least gotten to the part with the Entymidian,
