Hi there!

I've been hunting for a few weeks for Aotona, but no luck. I got a response from a GM that rare elites can take up to a week (!) to respawn. I hope that's not true. Does anyone really have an idea on her respawn time? I may try getting up at 3AM server time and hunting around then too.

On the upshot, we've helped folks get king Krush and I missed Loque by a hair...

Yea I finally got mine what you do is start from 3am to 11am Server time it will spawn btw there somewhere its a morning bird but then again dont bother wasting your time if too many people in the zone on the weekend! i got mine at 7:25am because i had work out how to get it on my Server it bugged it been spawning right on the dot where it been killed or tamed. Hope this helps.

Yuppers. I have NPCscan and the map overlay. I usually do laps around the bowl, herbing as I go. It makes me feel a little more productive. :3

On my server, she usually appears in the morning between 9am - 11am.

Ooo, that's good to know, thank you. I'll set my alarm clock it looks like. I usually go to class at about 9AM, which might be why I miss her a lot (NOT skipping school for wow. That would be a /terrible/ idea. x.x).

I tamed her on Moon Guard around 11am. :3 King Krush was around 4 or 5am server.

WoWHead seems to quote shes been found mostly in the morning too. It is different but you can find some patterns.

No luck at any of those times. This is turning me into a Grade A Grumpasaurus. Feathermoon, why so stingy. >< Think I'm gonna take a break today before I turn into a REAL Grumpzilla.

Mercifully? Grumpasaurism averted. So far. King Krush killed a little bit ago. Last time I saw this many hunters in the basin, I think NASCAR got canceled the day after gun permits went out.

Chillin' at a spawn point for Aotona still. There's at least one NE hunter after her. Not sure if I want to do circles around her spawn point or keep camping.

I've met some very nice people out here. That's an upside.

Downside is I fear turning into a Mel Gibsonian mass of insanity and running around calling myself Lord Humongous.

Well, I'm gonna cry. Missed her by three minutes to a night elf hunter. Oh well, I congratulated him. I'll... come back in a few hours and keep trying.

Aw! Well least you got a time on her.

Yeah, it's a start. Do you think she falls more in the 4-6 or 6-8 hour respawn?

Groovy. It's a good start at least. And really, I was mad at myself for missing her by finishing homework but it's very foolish not to study in college. >> The hunter seems like a nice guy anyhow. I'm camping for Old Cliffjumper and Barnabus so...XD

Well, old cliff jumper took me about 10 hours to find but I was studying for a test and working on AutoCAD for class. Good luck. He's a cool wolf, I still have him. And I don't know, everyone says they'd seen the rares as they leveled but ... I never do, I never seem to find them just poking around. I have to set up a tent and listen to Man vs. Wild or something.

I saw him last night but a horde hunter killed him. D:
