Evil Pumpkin is Evil

Ok, I really hate the pumpkin for the Headless Horseman! Today, I tried twice to do it. The first time, I managed to summon him after everyone else locked up trying. But then, they all lagged out and I was stuck fighting him alone. I actually got fairly close to getting him, but it was all over when he called his evil pumpkins. They overwhelmed me. Then, I tried again with a new group. I froze up so badly I had to manually turn my computer off!

It's a tooltip error. If you disable tooltips, you won't have a problem.

You can either do it with an addon or with a macro. Both are described in this wow.com post: http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/22/headl ... orkaround/

I use the macro, and it works like a charm. I left-click it before queueing and right click it after he's dead. When I zone in I mention that I don't crash and offer to summon.

Edit: I haven't tried it in other situations yet, but I've crashed trying to help a mage summon a table and doing Ritual of Souls, so I'd imagine it's handy there too. There's a major problem with the coding of tooltips in dungeons (don't know why it'd be different there, but it is), and I'm sure we'll see a fix very soon. It might have to be fixed client-side though, which means downtime and patch. Tuesday, perhaps?

Good point:
I tried that on my warrior lock up manual reset... last time that happened it was little blue square macro

My little durid LOVES WSG, and was crashing every time I moused over a flag. The "turn tooltips off" macro fixed that prob'lem as well.
