Would you cry, laugh, or help if you saw this...

"What is teh best tree to follow for a hunter who pvps a lot & melee"

And no, this was not said by a fresh, new to the hunter class player, but a level 49 hunter who recieved a lot of laughs, one suggestion of using the survival tree if they were serions, and some advice that he/she had rolled the wrong class if they were meleeing.

I cried because the guy was a level 49 and used hunter and melee in the same sentence.

Not nearly as epic as a Priest Tank :O

As to the question.... Well, honestly I'd laugh, to myself of course. Then tell the guy that if he wants to melee in PvP, roll a rogue. If he wants to melee in PvP with a pet, wait unil he his 55 with one of his toons then roll an unholy death knight.

Dare I ask if he asked this in trade? No good comes from that I tells ya.

I would shrug it off. You see a lot of 'melee hunters' on my server around lvl 30-60. D:

The exact same thing happened to me. But in Hellfire Ramparts.

Seriously, how can that quest confuse you!?

I'd cry,actually...unless he was just leveling his weapon skills...we've all done that. Right?

But seriously,49 and he needs to ask that?..I knew at level 8 a melee hunter was bad...just....so,so very bad.

I always want try gear my hunter as melee in case and fun and shit giggle :) am I that wierd? Haha!

I still remember in vanilla time where hunter was in beaststalker gear and arcaitence ripper axe and meleeing hit for 1k. That was hot dog in back the day.

Yes. It came up in Trade. Where silliness, insults, and more bad advice then good is given, and maybe just maybe someone actually wanting to trade an item.

No melee hunters?

Oh, that's why I have that ranged weapon slot, so few melee attacks and people kicking me out of groups!

LOL!

Yeah some hunters don't give us the best name. Take this post from the wow forums the other day, which started a lolfest/uproar. The OP was deadly serious too..

I've left the original GRAMMERS intact :D
either Crab stay or my arrows stay in-pocket.

don't make me choose between you and Crab. Crab always win.

Crab is always first one to defend me.... all you do is be rude to me in partys and raids

who do you think i will turst?

if you even insult Crab i am the first one to leave you no question asked, go find other hunter with a wolf you can boss around, i don't need you

if you use Crab like me, post here to show your support

Well, I would probably ignore it, as I would attempt to tell them how to spec exactly, point by point, and take probably about a half hour of my time to do so, and while doing so explain that hunters do not melee unless the situation is going to hell.
