Female Worgen Dance

Oh god thats....thats..... Ugh bad. LOLED at the bit when she felt her self up in the chest.

I did too. It's bad but with the music, it grows on you.

Veph posted about the dance here, but this is the first posting of TB's vid on the forums. ^_^

I had predicted in a former post that the developers might go with a Lady Gaga -ish route with the female worgen dance. To be precise though, I predicted moves from her Bad Romance video - the claw thing she does in the video seemed perfect for a worgen. But this! Um, well, I just think they could've still went with the pop reference (as so many wow dances do) without so much groping and fondling imo. I guess the "furries" or whatever they call themselves these days will be pleased.

It's funny nontheless and I'll get used to it ~ at least it's not as bad as the male worgen dance - Blizzard could've done something better with that one.

I was thinking they'd go with the bad romance dance though, seemed a bit more proper with the claw motions and all!

Everyone seems to think that. I've not seen the bad romance one.

So not even the World of Warcraft is safe from Lady Gaga. I'm not happy about that, to say the least. ><

It's a good thing I hardly ever let my characters dance anyway, partly because I don't really like most of the dances. The dance feature is a fun gimmick to me, nothing important that has any influence on which race/gender I play.

P.S.: The Bad Romance dance moves people refer to look pretty much like the dance moves in Thriller, which in turn everybody thought the male worgen would get. But it seems that Blizzard doesn't like the idea of werewolfs doing werewolf dances.

That and male night elves are already doing a Michael Jackson dance.

I'll admit. There's reasons why I prefer listening to songs without ever seeing their music video. They usually taint them for me. O_o But...that's scary. Myave I'll just make a male worgen. Dragon Age ftw. >.>

If they actually cared about the toons doing multiple versions of one artist's dance, they should have thought of that before adding two Shakira dances for the game (draenei and troll females).

Trolls are a direct rip, Draenei are a "style of Shakira" belly-dancing thing. It's close enough that Tyger's right. Especially since male humans and dwarves both pull from Saturday Night Fever.

They could have done a mix of moves too: keep the main moves from one source, then do a throw-in randomly of the worgen-appropriate moves.

With any luck they'll implement the dance studio thing and we can (hopefully) customize the dance to look more worgen-ish.

Hell, the worgen dance looks like something belf females should be doing, and the belf female dance almost looks like a worgen dance (they have that claw-like motion when they throw their hands to the side). XD

Totally agreed. Hopefully this is the sort of thing that's delaying the implementation of the dance studio - the inclusion of stuff like the Thriller moves...

With the dance studio, all my characters shall dance like male undead...

What? :D
