As of right now, they're still the old 'flathead' model. I would really love to see them as 'ridingtiger' models, so I need some help here. If you'd like a panther, orange tiger, or white tiger pet like the baby night elves have, put it in the suggestions pane in the beta! I'll post a suggestion on the forums later, or someone else can, because I seem to have left my autheticator at home. Argh. Anyways! Yes! Riding tiger models ahoy!~

..also, there's some mobs in Loch Modan called "mountain lion" that use the over-used tan lynx model. In the WMV, there's a gold riding tiger that would be so much more worthy of this job.

EDIT - changed the title so people didn't get their hopes up. Soz folks, my tea hasn't kicked my brain into drive yet. Still in third gear here.

I actually like the hunched models more. So much more intimidating.

I put in a suggestion the other night while checking on Duskfang. 2 birds with 1 stone sort of thing. I mentioned that Duskfang should be flagged as tameable, and along the same lines I suggested that it would be nice to have the saber model on a few other named/rare cats so people had the option.

In reality I've never liked Bangalash because of the real-life fact of how White Tigers are bred.

(in case anyone doesnt know its due to massive inbreeding/gene splicing that has horrible side affects)


But yeah, I like the riding models better myself (like Rakshiri)

I really want an orange riding tiger. O_O Like, really really. Also, a panther. I like tigers! I have already tamed every version of riding tiger that there is. XD

Rak'shiri = Grimalkin, Heimdall
Dreadsaber = Duma
Frostsaber Pridelord = Amaranth

Apparently, I want to be either Sigfried or Roy. Which one didn't get mauled again? That one. I want to have tigers, but not be nommed by said tigers.

But that what I like about the models. XD It's the reason I tamed them. Makes them sound more real.

The roar is cool, but the slobbering part is just disturbing. This is what tigers really sound like:

Hehe, I've always liked their yawn sounds as well. It's never bothered me.

I'm telling ya, those slobbery cats are not what they seem - show an elder sign to one and see what it does, amirite??

I also side on riding models. In vanilla I tamed only two kinds of kitties.. the lions and the riding models.

Oh, good. So I'm not the only one who tamed multiple skins of the same types a pets! I was beginning to think I was crazy or something. My stables are almost full! D;

Hahaha, far from it. Especially with the new stable size, I'm going to have AT LEAST 3 cats on my main: Ghost saber, Wintersaber and the Corrupted Cat from Felwood, Winnoa's Kitten (I spelled that wrong, I know I did.) Since I'm not in beta, I may fall in love with some other pets and end up doubling or tripling up more. xD; I know my alts will definitely have some of the same issues in their stables. XDD

well can someone suggest clefthoof to be grouped as rhino? XD

imo with all expantions so far there have been mobs from quests that have been tamable and then dont work or should not of been tamable. Like gutripper, the huntress, the slime crock, and the lvl 10 warrior quest raviger.

Im not suprised if they are making lots of npc quest mobs non tamable due to this to try and prevent an shouldent be hunter pets.
