Well 19 hours just went to waste. been camping her since 10:50pm server when i got home from work. My friends were even helping me. I was offering 500g if someone found her for me while I did my rounds.

But another hunter that already has 2 spirit beasts found her and tamed her. He found her fair and square but it bothers me cause i was talking to him and he knew this toon(Lisaara) had no spirit beasts so I was hoping he'd be nice and take the trade i had been offering.

This whole 19 - 72 hour respawn crap is ridiculous.

Blizzard really should have a set timer as 6 - 8 hours. That's more reasonable.

Gondria takes 19-72 hours? D: Eek. Now I feel bad I tamed her. But the other hunter who was after her wasn't around and kept hinting I should go away so I don't feel TOO bad...

She can. Arcturis was the one actually accounted to take 72 hours at one point.

That's just insaneo and I dread how long it'll take for Skoll. :/ I put in a ticket on Aotona and the GM said up to a week to respawn. Yikes.

Wait, isn't the timer at 6-8 hours? :s

Generally it is 6 - 8 hours but sometimes its longer.

Hmm... last night on Area 52 a hunter I have talked to in the past told me he had just tamed Gondria at 7:30pm server time. I didn't think nothing of it really.. other than I was camping him too.

Then an hour later at 8:30pm server time (I went to another character because Gondria was just tamed by the other hunter) my guild leader's girlfriend started going crazy in guild chat... she had just tamed Gondria...

That is two Gondria spawns within an hour of each other... and I missed both of them.

If I had known Blizzard was giving out Gondrias last night I would have stuck around longer...

I trust both people, so I don't think either one would lie to me and since I was online at the time I don't think a misunderstanding time-wise could have happened.

Two hunters in General were asking for Loque. Someone who had been chiming in infrequently suddenly goes "HURRDURR I just killed Loque!!" One of the disheartened hunters went to skin him. I myself had been looking for Aotona. The skinning hunter informed me her body wasn't too far away from Loque's. I hate people sometimes =(

I still have Gondria rotting in my stables at 79. I've gotten really attached to Skoll and LOVE Arcturis, but after the pain I went through looking for her, I don't think I'll ever be able to abandon her. Short version: after almost 32 hours straight (without letting my laptop out of my sight) seeing 2 tames and a kill ... my BF convinces me to go to the Dunkin' Donuts on the corner with him and get coffee. I was gone like 4 minutes and came back to Gondria's corpse sitting RIGHT in front of me.

Just finally got done replacing the door my sleep-deprived and freshly-caffinated self punched a hole through. ;/

If it helps ... I've heard (convincing) stories that rares in Zul'drak share spawn times. And having people check out places other than that little circle of spots Gondria spawns in could maybe help keep you from going nuts.

I have personally witnessed King Krush spawning, getting tamed, and within 20min Loque spawning and getting tamed.

By two different hunters, but I was there and I saw it all go down. I wasn't upset about Loque... but it was day 10 on my Krush camp... and I lost out on the KK tame by less than a minute... I was headed that way to check when another hunter who had known I was looking said he saw it being tamed. The hunter who tamed KK was still feeding it when I got there.

I found Gondria but too late. a horde hunter was taming her just as I landed. Goddamnit.....3rd time in 3 days I've missed her.

EDIT: Well my morning was just made up. I logged into my horde hunter who was on Arcturis' spawn spot and found him there! :3 But Lisaara, my draenei hunter, was in Sholazar. I hearthed out of Sholazar, and flew to grizzly hills. Even after about 5 - 10 minutes, he was still there! Galileo is mine!

Hope so too! For now, while I wait for the elusive kitty of the spirit world, I shall be bonding with the bear. :3
