Just curious what rares other hunters have collected since the patch gave us the huge stable storage. So far, I've managed to catch a total of 12 rares, including the 4 I had before the patch.

I'll add another post, since apparently there's a 10 attachment limit.

Here's the other 2.

For rares I currently have Nuramoc, Goretooth, Crusty, Aotona, and Skoll in my stables.

Taluwen: Loque'nahak, Arcturis, Skoll, Gondria, Takk The Leaper, Azzere The Skyblade, Nuramoc, Razormaw Matriarch

Lisaara: King Krush, Aotona, Barnabus, Deathmaw, Timber, Old Cliff Jumper, Shadowclaw, Strider Clutchmother, Snarler, Gorefang, Clutchmother Zavas

As of now, my rare tames include: Humar the Pridelord, Echeyakee, Death Howl, Olm the Wise, Rak'Shiri, The Rake, Araga, Ghost Saber, Cliff Jumper, Hayoc, and Strider Clutchmother.

I plan on adding King Krush, Death Flayer, and Qirot to this list as soon as I am able.

My rares are King Krush, Loque'nahak, Gondria, Arcturis, Skoll, Aotona, Nuramoc, Mazzranache, Grubthor, Silithid Ravager, Creepthess, and Dishu. Grubthor and Nuramoc belong to Cailan and Creepthess belongs to Liora. All the rest belong to my main, Taizak.

Currently looking for King Mosh, Skoll, and a rare turtle, either Cranky Benj or Ironback (will probably get replaced by Terrorpene in cata).

I have... Gondria, Aotona, Old Cliff Jumper, Loque'Nahak (AKA: Mr. Fuzzy wuzzy swirly snookums), and that's about it! I'm after Skoll, but there's not too much hope for that one.

I have a few rares on my hunters.

On Cerah, I had Nuramoc (Ripley) and Skoll (Reverie) since before the patch. Since then, they've been joined by Snort (Shenzi), and Lapress (Deekah). I guess Belore, my red and white dragonhawk might count too, since that skin's only available in the Botantica and Tempest Keep. I'm currently hunting for Loque'nahak. Wish me luck!

On Toeph, my first tame was Mazzranche (TyLee). Her other pets are common, but most took some effort to tame, like Iroh, her polar bear, Sokka the blue crab, and Zuko the Ravager, who all were tamed in Alliance territory, not an easy feat for a lowbie (though the Lowbie Safari helped a lot )

Leata only has one rare, Timber (Moonracer), though she did get her crocolisk, Hyde, from the Durotar river at level 15 -- again, not too shabby a feat for a lowbie.

Aldera has Arcturis, Gondria, Cliff Jumper, Aotona, Grubthor, and Nuramoc.
Drakaya has Azzere. My baby hunter Kyliea has Broken Tooth.

Oh, and on beta I have Ainamiss, Harakiss, and Jadefang.

my tauren hunter has the black bear, the beige moth from azuremyst and the grey owl which rare amongst the horde.

my troll has the brown boar which is also rare because nobody use it.

my orc hunter uses the black tiger with grey stripe(moonstalker matriarch) which is very rare at higher level.

my dwarf uses the barking dog and the red hyena which I have not yet seen any alliance with the same pet on my server.

what wassa said is true, normal pet like the yellow lion, the ornery plainstrider are rare.

I will only list Tapeworm's (L.80 Orc) pets. I won't count the awesome-sauce ones I have on beta.

Most are not named (and some are not "rare"), because everytime I think of a naming scheme I change my mind.

Some sort of Wasp.. probably Hive Queen or Qirot.
Green or Blue (for now) Madexx scorpion
Another parrot... not 100% sure on color... will probably "try out" a few
Some color of Helboar... probably one from SMV or BEM.
Green, White (ghost), or Blue Plaguehound/Magehunter DOG. (probably green... just to be different... although Blue is a REALLY close 2nd)
Purple spider from Naxx... but hopefully not FROM Naxx...

Shale Spider... either Jadefang or Purple or Red one
One of the big silithid tick bugs.

That will fill up my stables, and there are a few in there I wouldn't mind dropping if something awesome came along... while still keeping my "I don't want to ever drop these" pets still around.

EDIT... Blargh... I can't believe I forgot to put the green Battle Cat in my after Cataclysm list... something else will HAVE to go...

Rare because no one uses them; White Lion (and I'm on a Horde dominant server, go figure), stealthed spider from BEM, brown raptor from Netherstorm, white worm, white moth, and if you discount the starter hunters, purple tallstrider and golden red dragonhawk.

King Krush and Aotona, both found by complete and total accident, when I was completely alone in the area. I don't normally hunt rares at all unless it's something I just HAVE to have. I dislike competing with other hunters for a rare mob.

I have King Krush, Aotona, Loque'nahak, Gondria, Skoll, Giggler, Grubthor, and Mazzranache.

And my "special" tames were Oil-Stained Wolf and The Beast. I'd add my Moonstalker too. I ran my BE from Org to Darkshore at 17 for that kitty. I only managed to eat it a couple times on the run.

Also one night during my realm's 24 hour maintenance, I made a Draenei Hunter on another server. I ran her from the starting zone to Thunder Bluff for The Rake. I had this crazy idea at one point that I'd get her some gold and all of her stable slots so she could tame all of the Rare low level Male Lion skins. And then I realized that I have a tiny bit of sanity.

I have Skoll, Arcturis, and the Silithid Ravager.


Originally I wasn't keen on spirit beasts until I tamed Skoll for the heck of it when I saw him. Was pretty unique having a stealthed wolf that can moonfire things


My favorite rare find so far was the Silithid Ravager though. Looking at pics the tan skinned silithid grew on me and he is one of the only sources. Others have proclaimed he is super hard to find. I flew to shimmering flats and didn't find him inside the silithid tunnel. I exited and ran around to suddenly find a tan little silithid scurrying and hopping around an abandoned dig site all by himself. I watched him for a bit and he definitely seemed more lively than other silithids Very memorable tame even though I had it easy. Still haven't found the right name for him yet though...

Across three characters, I only really have a couple, but that's okay. <3

Yukira: Tendahj - Takk the Leaper and not exactly rares, but not often seen on lowbie Ally characters, North - Starving Ghostpaw and Lucius - Crazed Dragonhawk c:
