As hilarious as that would be, sadly I think that if you get exalted with Gilneas, all you get is that exalted status as Blizz seems pretty adamant about not adding any sort of mount for the worgen. =/

I still think the stagecoaches you use in the starting zone would make badass mounts since the goblins get trikes.

Yha, im just glad they let worgan farm rep and ride other factions mounts, have you seen them run? Ugg.
Of cource the rumor was they werent going to let wargon ride mounts until a conversation like this happened.

"Hey Leeroy Worgans cant ride mounts right?"
"Yha, they have running wild. It lets them drop on all fours and run like a wolf. I mean why would a wolf ride a horse ya know?"
"Uhhuh...so at lv 60, when everyone gets thier Gryphon, running wild does what? Lets eagle wings grow out his ass so he can fly?"

They'll have to add mounts for the Worgen eventually, since Goblins have them, which will presumably count towards the Mountain of Mounts achievement. Just imagine the stink the Alliance will raise if Worgen don't get the equivelent.

Another alternative, I guess, would be for all the other Alliance races to have additional mounts added, or for Tauren to go back to Plainsrunning (like in the Vanilla WoW beta), but I really think Blizzard will cave regarding this whole feral running thing.

Judging from what I've read on MMO-Champion, it's actually been confirmed that it's basically 50/50 at the moment. I don't feel like hunting through there for the link though, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

The solution is simple! Just give us Worgens to ride on.

I'm sure they will just add more mounts to the other races. I'd quit wow if they make cows not ride mounts again. It was bad enuff when it was only kodos and wolves.

They did. From what I understand, Horde is slightly head of Alliance now by 3 mounts I think?

The fact is that Blizzard pretty much summed up the whole worgen-no-mount causes Alliance mount imbalance issue already. They basically said that they can add more mounts if need be, so really the issue isn't that big of a deal.

Personally, I never understood the whole fuss over the horde being a few mounts ahead of the Alliance in regards to Worgen lack of mounts. I mean, Mountain of Mounts is achievable on live right now; we don't even need Worgen and Goblins to accomplish it. Cataclysm literally spews mounts at you XD So really, there's no real reason to worry just yet about a slight mount imbalance.

Blizz remains strong about not giving them a mount, but that will change. Whingers make more noise. I'm with the folk who disapprove of this running nonsense. Just give them a god damn mount. I remember them saying somewhere once that they just couldn't think of anything suitable to give them as mount.

You can think up all this weird and wonderful stuff that makes up the whole of the Warcraft universe, but you can't pick them something to ride on?

I don't care about whether or not one side has more or is equal in terms of mount numbers. If every other race gets a mount, so should they.

My Worgen will abandon Gilneas the instant they game will allow in favor of gaining rep elsewhere.
