Tito... good news and bad news

I recall awhile back there was much discussion about Tito (from the wizard of oz encounter in KZ) and his unique skin. So long story short, while waiting for the animal bosses to respawn I figured I'd see if it was Wizard day at the opera.
Well, the good news is that he's now flagged as tameable.

The bad news is... when you go to tame him, you get "Creature is already controlled" (regardless of whether or not Dorothee is alive). It makes sense, being that he's tagged as <Dorothee's Guardian>, but it was still like... a huge high (OMIGOD HE'S TAMEABLE) followed by a massive letdown (AW, THE HELL?).
It's a step at least. I put in an in-game suggestion to unlink them.

Alas, Tito's skin isn't really unique though.

He's the exact same as Barnabus and the Ember Worgs.

So him not being tameable isnt a huge loss but I'm glad you checked though! Any info is always good. ^_^

He's not the same as Barnabus and the Ember Worgs though, he's a unique untameable light brown wolf skin.
EDIT: ummeiko beat me.

Odd, he's listed as the Ember Worg skin though. Might wanna report that to Mania for the error. :3

I think it was discussed in the past here, probably just a small detail she hasn't got around to yet.

Most of it was discussed in this thread about a month or two ago:

Ah gotcha. Well i stand corrected and now want Tito.....damn you Blizzard for being a tease.
Does he stick around if you kill Dorothee first?

He sticks around. The crone spawns but he still sticks around. I first tried with Dorothee alive because the frostbolts weren't much more than a minor nuisance. When I got the message I killed Dorothee and tried again, but same message (as usual with situations like this).

...damn you Blizzard for teasing us.....That's so not right. ;-; i'd be happy if you killed her that you could tame him.

Aww! At least he's partly there. I would LOVE this skin color available, though I'm not sure who I could possibly tame it on.

That's good news at least

Hopefully he'll be fixed before release, along with the red scarab and the blue 2-headed vulture.

I was going to see if they made any changes this patch but...
The path to fall underneath Kara has finally been blocked off after 3-4 years. As I have no key on my premade, I can't test.
If anyone has a key and wants me to check, hit up Zheyrryhn sometime if you see me on.

Wow, I can't believe they fixed that after all these years! What server and faction are you on, again? My only keyed toon on the beta is Niaw on Lost Isles, Alliance. I'm happy to help if I can, but I won't be on for a few hours.

my hunter for testing things is Zheyrryhn, horde on lost isles. But if need be, I can always roll a premade, grab a shale spider (seems to be my new fav tanking pet), and roll alliance or another server. Though honestly, doesn't really matter what faction as long as someone's there to open the gate. *shrug*
I won't be on in a few hours (work early tomorrow), but perhaps I can meet up with you sometime tomorrow or this weekend.

Sounds good. Though there are so many Horde Petopians on Lost Isles hopefully one of them has a key. But I'm more than happy to help

BTW, just edited my post above. I accidentally listed my keyed toon as "Wain" (which is his name on live), rather than "Niaw" which is his name on the beta.

Okay, I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, but I found an alternative way into KZ without the key.
Unfortunately, I got Romeo and Juliette this week and I'm not sure if it's something that can be changed with soft reset (the first soft reset didn't change it anyway -- I don't think it's supposed to change with reset, but I don't recall). Since you have to kill Moroes to open up Opera, I'm kinda stuck if it doesn't change. I did make an Alliance premade though, so if you're on later tonight maybe I can steal you for a raid group.

Absolutely

It figures that you'd get the wrong play when you badly need it. Moonlost and I spent ages working our way through BWL last night only to find that Chromaggus was actually missing! :/ It's obviously a BUG and not a deliberate removal, as the way forward was barred, so you couldn't complete the raid.

I didn't see you again, so I got in by killing myself at the entrance and rezzing past the grate. I got Romeo & Juliet. Then I helped Onenation get through (I was on my shaman) and we got Red Riding Hood. I'm hoping she gets in on her other alt
I can't seem to create more premades or copies for Lost Isles. It won't give me that one as an option anymore.

*skips around humming songs from The Wizard of Oz to inspire the correct opera event to spawn*
The suspense is incredible.
