So I went to go tame another one, ice trapped the NPC and pulled out my Pride to abandon her. But she looked FINE. It was like my game had to see another one to say "Oh. That's what she's supposed to look like."

BUT. Then get this. I mounted up and went to continue questing. Next time I pulled her out her model was bugged AGAIN.

Is this happening to any one else or with any other pets? It's seriously frustrating! None of my other pets have this problem ... even other birds with this model (but different color, like the brown ones).

Unfortunately this is a constant glitch. In some lighting it might not be as obvious, but yes the model is bugged with how light shows on it. It's the only reason I don't have one of those tamed.

There's been people who've submitted tickets, but Blizzard hasn't seemed to take any action.

The Imperial Eagles have the same glitch showing on the back of their necks as well. Kind of a shame, really...I've been rather enjoying Tahlian learning to be a falconer, but man I hate that graphics glitch on my eagle.

Wow...they fixed the lighting on the cobras but they haven't bothered to fix the eagles? It can't be that hard to fix a graphical anomaly.

I kind of like the pink highlights glitch.

I haven't had this problem with Oracle -- she's always a nice, snowy white colour, though she has been spending a lot of time at the Dalaran Stables. I guess I should take her out a bit more often, just to be sure.

It's not the pink colour that bothers me, but the blocky method in which the model displays lighting. The highlights are shown at such sharp polygonal angles that it's really distracting and takes away from the otherwise smooth fluidity of the model.

Hopefully, they fix this before my little bloodelf gets to the level to tame that. She needs it for her theme, but I can't bear looking at the thing as it is!

wow, that is pink 0o' one of my friends would love that if it wasn't for the blockyness, hopefully its on bliz's list of things to do.
