Character Art! Will you get any? (Image heavy)

Hey there, I'm commissioning a piece of art from this artist, and she's done some sketches for me to choose from, and has said I can mix and match the pose of the goblin and the pose of the fox.

1 2 3

At the moment I think I like both the fox pose and goblin pose in number 3, but i'm not absolutely certain, they're all great. What do you think?

I chose number 3 for both fox and goblin, and gave a little feedback, and now the artist has come up with this.

This is exactly the way I pictured Lyxia.

I don't think you can share links that are in your own Gmail inbox, you'll have to host them somewhere. ^^;

I like both the Fox and the Goblin in number 3 personally. ^^

Vephriel: That was my initial thought as well, but the second sketch is also great, the anatomy is perfect and it's almost as if her fox shares the same thought she does, and snarls at an enemy at the same moment she pulls out her pistol.

In the third sketch, it's more like "Are you sure you want to take me on?"

The first one is more like "Bye bye" But the fox looks uninterested, to say the least.

Number 2 is really neat as well, though I don't like the whole pointer stance for the fox. Not very fox-like.

That's true, and number 3 has more of a sly, fox-like feel to it.

Thanks for voting everyone! I really appreciate it. ^^ I'll be deciding on which sketches to use within the next 13 hours.

I chose either The 1st Goblin and the Third Fox or the Third Gob/Fox combo. I just really like the fox in the third one.

I've decided on the third goblin third fox combo, it just seems right.

I liked Goblin 1 Fox 3, very in-your-face aggressive with the goods to back it up, which seems very Goblin Hunter to me. Poses Numbers 2 and 3 are too demure. Goblin females have always seemed to me just as forward, strong and hard-headed as the males and not particularly elegant.

Anansi, That was my first thought as well, but then, Her trick is to use her appearance to lull strangers into a sense of false security, in that she's small and pretty. Her personality, however, is a different story. She's hardheaded, intelligent, smart, (intelligent and smart are two different things, don't get them mixed up.) and fiery. You don't want to p*ss her off, basically.

So, is anyone else getting character art? feel free to post examples, I'd love to see what you've got!

I've had dozens and dozens of commissions before, none of my WoW stuff yet though. Its always awesome to see your character brought to life in such a manner. For my 30th birthday my brother and sister got my main WoW toon commissioned for me, it is godly.

can i ask who you're getting this commission through?

Vephriel: That's a great piece of art, in my opinion. You planning on getting art of Vephriel and Skoll? ;D

Kayb: Sure thing, her name is Stacey Kardash, let me find a link for you. Edit: Here you go! http://docs.google.com/View?id=dhmw4329_76g46twmd6

I don't think I'll ever comission anyone for something like this. If I HAVE to get an image of my toon, I'll do it myself. :P I'm not too good with humanoids at the moment, but how could I ever get better at them if I never try?

Below is the first drawing I've ever made of Nanyana, my main. Her Ghost Saber was supposed to be at her side too, but I'm not too satisfied with it anymore.. Perhaps I'll redo it in the near future.

I know a couple of good artists that could use some cash.

Myself? I draw my own characters, just nothing I've got I feel use-able yet.

No, I can't draw. No, I won't comission.

I just feel no need for it, my crab riding sig wouldn't have the same impact if it was drawn, regardless of the artists skill. If I want a sig, I make it myself, with modelviewer and any tools at my disposal (PhotoShop).
