So I'm sitting in SB looking for Krush, I notice another Hunter near, so I thought I would have a friendly chat with him see what he was after, this is how our chat went. (his spelling included)
Me "Krush or the spirit beast are you after?"
Him "? Krush + and there isent any spirit beast in sholasar"
Me "yep there is the best looking one Loque'nahak"
Him "well loquenar isent an spirit beast"
Me "yes he is"
Him "its a raremob but spirit nop"
Him "you dont seem to know what a spirit beast is"
Him "a spiritbeast is a mob almost invisable glowing in blue"
Him "and loquenar doesnt"
Me "I've got him hes a spirit beast like the others"
Him "why are you looking for him if u alredy have him"
Me" I'm not I'm looking for Krush"
Him "and if you belive its a spiritbeast go ahead knock yourself up"
Him "whos krush never heard of him and no1 else i have either"

I've had a lot of players lately with that odd combination of poor spelling/grammar, poor knowledge and unshakeable confidence in it. Most of them seem to assume that if you disagree with them, it's because you're an idiot.
Not wanting to fall into stereotypes, I do wonder if it's related to more kids being home as the nights draw in

I never understood why people don't do a little research or at least wowhead/thottbot something. While camping probably the second most annoying thing is people replying to my General Ad by saying, "I don't know what that is" or something of the like (This could be tied with "He's a rare that spawns in several locations." Kinda why I'm asking for help). For one, I'm asking for a successful tame. I'm going to assume it has to be a beast. And I use the actual NPC's name. I'm not sure about you all, but I keep a Firefox window open almost all the time to be able to tab out and read up on something. Then again I am one of those nerds that loves to do this type of research. But it never surprises me what people say to me these days.

... and that's where the term "huntard" comes from. /facepalm
Don't let idiots like that bother you though -- hell, if he claims Krush doesn't exist, that just means one less person out there hunting for him.

Well, in all fairness, I was in my mid-70s on my first toon (Teigan) before I knew what Aotona was, or Krush. This was of course before Petopia...
But still, that is really, really bad. It's the absolute confidence in the incorrect information that is mind-boggling.

Well he's the pure definition of a huntard. Should probably get a trophy for this one......ugh.

It all comes down to some people growing up thinking that opinions are facts... or even thinking 100% of what is read on message boards HAS TO BE fact.
Or the kid could have been trying to pull one over on the other guy by saying there were no spirit beasts in SB... trying to get the other hunter to go away and look elsewhere, so the kid could be alone to tame Loque.
We can speculate all day long. The fact is... every single class in every single game ever made has bad players which means other classes will always say bad things regarding other classes... while someone in their class is out somewhere acting like an idiot.
True story.

Ok, I tried chopping this post to cut out relevant info, but it's so compact!
Anyway.
Only people whom you might expect to know exactly about rares are either hunters who want to tame them or people camping them for THAT achievement.
Usually, /1/ and /2/ are swarming with smartasses and trolls (NOT the race), so I choose to ignore retarded answers to my questions. It's just not worth the nerves...
Back to the OP, however.
WHAT was he doing there, then, again?
I sometimes wish for a "you must be this high" test for WoW. Only applying to your intelligence.
The amount of retards, of any class really, never ceases to amaze and disgust me.

Well I'm sat up near the circle of white apes and I get this whisper.
I'm guessing my friendly hunter need to get something off his chest lol
Turns out where I am camping on and off make me a worst than a Chinese gold farmer.
He logged straight out after he gave me the whisper lol
Guess I've made a friend.

Ok, so first he doesn't believe Krush even exists...
Now he's an EXPERT at where this non-existant "raptor" does and does not spawn.
He doesn't believe there's a Spirit Beast in the basin, nor does he have any clue what his name is.
Annnd he has no idea what the concept of Gold farming involves (HINT: camping rare spawns yields the least amount of gold per hour versus any other WoW activity, ask any greedy goblin)!
We have a trifecta of derp here, or so it would seem.

....wow.
That's a staggering amount of ignorance in a single tell.
If that jackass bothers you again, I would summon Loque IN HIS FACE to prove that you're not after him and that said hunter is a complete moron.
The scary part is that he knows that that's a Loque spawn point (too), but not that Loque is a spirit beast. *sigh*

At least that will pollute his cache so he has to restart to clear it out!

That would be an "unintentional" side effect.

I think this sums the whole thing up here. What a noob. Yeah, I'd say sick Loque at his face and he'll think twice about insulting you again.
"Noobs deserve our wrath, for sure, but try not to be too harsh, for it is proven fact that they will never get laid. NEVER."
