Honestly, that makes sense... Didn't shadowclaw just get added(Found)? Maybe Darkshore is just now getting their rares back?

That's WONDERFUL! Thank you for finding her!!! I was sad to see her go before, cause she was the first rare I'd ever seen in WoW.

So glad you found her. That was one of my more memorable tames, albeit for my GF's Hunter. The spell interupt on her was starting to upset me so much and I had to sit and wait between attempts so i wouldnt die, lol. I kited her to the water so i could hop in and evaid if the tame failed too many times and i was low on health. One awesome unique beast at the time...

I wonder of her and Shadowclaw really were missing, but perhaps someone from Blizzard saw a community like ours and decided to re-implement them? >.> Who knows, but if that's the case maybe we can look forward to some other missing rares showing up again. ^^ I'll take a look for Chatter next time I'm in Beta. :3

Awesome! This isn't my favorite of the three brightly colored tallstriders, but I know a lot of people are attached to her personally and not just the skin, so I'm so glad for all the Clutchmother fans who've got her back now

Ok, I found her and her offspring tonight. The two offspring, which are the brown skin, are called Foreststrrider Fledglings and they're level 12 tameable beasts. I felt like a heel for doing this, but I tamed one for the records: I managed to leave the old girl alive, but I feel bad now

UPDATE: OK, now I don't feel so bad. 5 mins later she suddenly spawned more offspring!

....with a reproductive rate THAT quick, it's shocking that Darkshore isn't overrun with tallstriders!

(I agree, by the way; I hate taming parent pets or their children. The untamed end up dead/abandoned. )

(Beta) The Clutchmother skin is also available on the new striders found on the coast of the Swamp of sorrows: Tamed in the previous Beta patch.
Its not easily recognised because of the heavy green tint of the lighting in that zone.
Another option if you dont want to wait for a rare spawn
