Now I know you want to say both but if blizz said hey we are going to either give you the ghost hydra skin to tame or a solid non ghost model what kind would you want?

If I had the choice I would definitely choose solid, I'm not a fan of transparent or ghostly pets. I like mine to have substance.

That said, if Ghost were the only Hydra available I'd be on it in a heartbeat. ^^ I just want a hydra. ;_;

You should add a third option: forget the hydra, give me slime!

Seriously, although I am all for tameable hydra I probably wouldn't tame one myself. They've always creeped me out.

But if I had to choose, I'd go solid. I'm with Veph, I like my pets to look like I can go give them a big hug and I won't fall though them.

Hehe, yeah that's it exactly. It's probably why I never clicked with Arcturis and Gondria, and why I feel no desire for a Ghost Wolf, Ghost Jormungar, Spectral Saber, etc, etc.

I'd take a ghost hydra if it was ghost or nothing, but I'd definitely prefer solid.

^ This. I didn't click with my ghost worm -- let him go in favour of my more solid Daggoth. I like pets I can actually imagine feeling.

Seriously, if they made Hydras tamable (please Blizz? Pretty please) I'd go for that rare spawn in the Barrens that gave my toons such grief at low levels.

I'd rather have solid they look cooler that way and theres more skin opptions

Solid hydra.

Sorry, wasn't a big fan of Ghost Hydra mostly due to its color. XD

Some ghostly pets work for me... others don't. I can't nail down the exact reason but I think it has something to do with whether the creature has an element of nobility, or beauty, like cats and wolves. This is why I think the ghost saber and ghost howl work as ghostly pets, while the ghostly hydra, croc and jormungar don't. Oh sure, if I could get a ghost hydra I'd take one, but that's only because they're unique.

Which is why I'm glad you included a "solid" option - as a flesh n' blood stompy dino thing, hydras work just fine.

I love the ghost hydra! Lisaara's theme is spiritual-like beasts/orcish beasts so it'd fit perfectly. :3

I would personally prefer a solid-skinned hydra for myself.

However, if hydras are to be tamed at all, I feel that both options should be available in game for hunters. It would be the right thing to do and allow all hunters the option of choice.

Any hydra is a good hydra! I love my Hydra-dile, though sometimes the ghostly effect keeps me from visually appreciating Bubbles as much as I can. However, I'd take any kind! I want Bubbles to have lots of new friends to play with!

JUST GIVE ME HYDRA.

That said, I'd want a solid one, the blue skin. Seeing those at a low level was very startling!

I currently have the Ghost Hydra already BUT i would actually like to see Hydras tameable. It is an oversight in my opinion. They should have become Tameable when Chimera did. And if Hydras become tameable then a LOT of options are opened up as far as colours not just teh white ghost version. Good Luck with this post!!!

I voted for solid, but if they made a spirit beast with the model I would then say ghost. But really all of the above just because my tastes are different from other peoples!
