Looks like for the Love Is In The Air event there will be three new bosses in Shadowfang Keep.

They look pretty fun, but again... I'm going to be going nuts to try and get the mount and the pet off those guys. ...I do want to zip around on a Rocket. (Although the Rocket has yet to be confirmed, but right now I think we can assume it'll drop off them.)

ALSO, for once I won't have to kiss Abominations in UC! \o/ I'll be kissing more Orcs instead, but I kind of... hate this holiday. When I was going for my Violet Proto-Drake, I had stay up late on the last day on the holiday just to get my last damn candies. >.< I hated the drop rate on it.

That's really all I'm excited for. xD And the gas mask would be cool to have.

i did all the holiday quests i could find today and got none for any bosses...

Ooh new bosses. Heh need to see if I can get to see them.

The only thing that saddens me is that there are no Abomination guards in Undercity anymore.

The "Man on the Inside" quest that sends you to Shadowfang takes you to the quest giver for the seasonal boss daily.

I was very happy when I found out this holiday was no longer an hourly RNG chore - got my candies and finished love fool after doing one of the dailies

GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE! I know what I'll be farming for for the next two weeks!

Has any of you had a chance to try the bosses yet? I just finished my first run and I have to say... As BM, I hated it. Apparently Avoidance doesn't apply to the Perfume clouds >> if my pet steps and inch too close to a single cloud, it's dead in 3 seconds. The immunity you can get for the clouds doesn't apply to your pet either, so the poor thing isn't safe even next to you while you're standing in a safe cloud. >.<

I'm really frustrated right now... Call me a crybaby, but I'm NOT going to go through the hassle of respeccing, getting more SV or MM appropriate gear and learning the playstyle just so I can get a shot at getting some nice vanity items.

Does perfume go trough PW:S?

If not, get a priest to come with you. I'm sure they'll be more than willing to shield you.

Yeah. I was NOT pleased. I couldn't even have Clayburn out for the buff to my damage he'd give just by being out and alive...the poor thing would just keel over dead.

I'm hoping beyond hope that the Avoidance not applying is a bug that will be hotfixed. It seems more than a little unfair to penalize pet classes of any stripe in that fashion, even for a "holiday" boss that drops "vanity" items.

And as for PW:S...we have enough trouble getting an occasional Renew on our pets. Asking a priest to make our pets a shield priority isn't, in all likelihood, going to happen.

Fingers crossed it's just a bug and can/will be fixed.

Saturo, maybe it's me being unsocial, but I'm not the kind of person who goes around begging for "healz for mah pet". XD If the healer happens to be a friend then sure, I'll ask them to pay extra attention to my pet. However, the fight is pretty hectic as it is with everyone taking loads of damage, so I wouldn't be surprised if the healer simply didn't have the time to heal or shield a hunter pet.

Huh, if I ask specificly for my pet to get healing attention, he gets it.

Of course, sometimes I add that he causes raid wide mana regen too... But that shouldn't cause any difference, right?

Yeah, I just ran it and my poor wolf Scruffs didn't last 5 seconds out there. Ended up just not rezzing him, since it would take longer for me to regen mana after every fight.

However, I managed to win myself a Toxic Wasteling!! <3 Some fun stuff about it- it doesn't give you an aura like the disgusting oozeling, but it will pounce on top of critters and devour them, which increases it's size! =O I haven't confirmed it yet, but people on wowhead are saying that it will enlarge up to 3 times. Kinda nifty.
