Thats a player that didn't zone in to the raid yet. Normally when someone hasn't come into view/range yet you see a default picture for their race and gender. this has happened a few times actually. Anyone else get it?

I have seen it myself a few times in the last few weeks. Always wondered what it was.

Yup, that's the female troll default picture...it's pretty scary. xD

Uhg, yes, that's the new default female troll picture. I HATE this picture. When they first put it in, everyone kept saying how strange it was before I'd zone in an instance or whatever, and once I finally did see it... >_<

I don't see why Blizzard felt the need to update it to this hideous portrait. Also- why are the tusks coming out of her cheeks, and not her mouth? o_O

It's just....a very odd picture. It doesn't look like a Troll at all...it's almost like some bizarre evil Night Elf. xD

Ok, I read somewhere that this is the portrait that was supposed to be used way back when WoW started.. and then I stumbled upon this video... The female troll is the very last one, if you skip to like 5:13 in the video after it loads.

Let me say, I'm very happy to be the troll that I am today, and not that lol

I actually loved the female Alpha troll and wish we could play them.

The portrait may be scary looking, but they had way more personality and viciousness to them before.

Heh, that's what I love about them. They're not supposed to be feminine. I'd prefer the Alpha version any day. I want a realistic, savage Troll huntress.

There are some angry-looking female troll faces which work...the main thing I miss from the male model is the ability to slouch at will!

I actually prefer the female human model in that video over the current one. It looks more like a blood elf, somehow.

And the female gnome model is hideous!

I'm glad they ending up making fem tauren a bit less chunky, but I would looove to use some of the larger horn styles on my druid =\
