Spiders make me think of long, hissy names. Put multiple "th" and "sh" sounds together with a couple soft vowels in there. "Thessh" "Zzash" "Issh" "Hathessh" etc.
Or just call him Jimmy.

My gf gave me a good idea for it, to name it after her stepdad, who's afraid of spiders. lol
