Sea Serpents. . .

ok, anyone find it a bit weird that sea serpents are listed as having diets? I've checked beast lore on them and it says that they eat meat and fish. I know that animals they don't want to ever make tameable are listed without a diet at all (like camels).

Could this mean that we'll see underwater Hunter pets at some point. I'd love that

It's a neat idea, but I seem to recall GC saying something about not wanting environment-specific pets. Perhaps during that talk with the guy from WHU? I can't remember where now, but it was along those lines anyway.

It is weird though, that they have diets.

Hmm. Well I was thinking maybe they just copied the "template" or w/e over from serpents and then tweaked it to conform to the new creature specs... except serpents only eat meat. Meaning someone probably was thinking of these as hunter pets at one time, at least in passing...

That means the diet was either intentional or a purposeful/accidental flag of:
Bird of Prey
Carrion Bird
Cat
Spirit Beast
Crocolisk
Shale Spider

Of those, only Croc and SB make sense (the latter as "oh well some people don't want to camp they just want the abilities" sense and the former as "lol well it looks sort of right I guess")

Weird stuff gets accidentally flagged though (tallstrider shredder? Wolf snake?) so not too much hope :/
