Posted on DeviantArt here!
In the same vein as my Spirit Beast photos. This piece took about 7 hours to do. It's made up of about a dozen various animal photos--crocodiles, alligators, iguanas, other various lizards, and even a tyrannosaurus rex skull for the teeth. The images are all copyright- and restriction- free, from sxc.hu. I'm pretty happy with the way this one came out. Thoughts/opinions?

Yeah, lol. MANY IMAGES of composite worth XD I forgot to add the eye--it's an eagle--and the legs are done off several ostrich legs, layered with reptile skin >.>

As with the others, it's meant to be a "real" animal done up like the WoW version--so no spikes

The background is a bit too saturated - also, the spikes would probably still be relatively realistic, there was actually a dinosaur with extremely similar spines, Altipinax and Spinosaurus, actually, though they had web thingies.
It's very nice overall!

Ooops, Altispinax, not pinax. I love him, he's my favorite.
Have you tried using the clone tool to get a more consistent scale pattern? It might or might not work.

No; I have PsP9, not Photoshop, so applying a texture to one layer, then colors to another just doesn't seem to work : / Also my Clone tool seems funky--I can't figure out which setting is wrong and no matter what I change it doesn't fix it, but it seems to stutter, repeating the same cloned chunk over and over, sometimes >.>
