okay so i really have been needing a signature for a long time and i really don't know what to make for a signature ant suggestions would be helpful not to mention a real signatureitself and sorry i really didn't know where else to post this

What kind of one would you like? Some things to think about are:

Your favorite mount
Your favorite pet
Your favorite zone
Your chars race symbol
Your favorite weapon
Your favorite minni pet
Your favorite hunter move
Your favorite boss
Do you want one with game graphics or drawn or catroony
If you could tame an un-tamable pet what would it be?
What colors you like

Veph is great with signatures too you could ask her on her thread or just post what you want here and maybe you can get a few different ones.

lol I like your signature Lionfury and its cool how your avatar changes. When I get a chance I will try ad make a little signature for you rubybeam maybe some others will too! That way you can have diff ones to chose from. Hydras are awesome I'd want that rare that spawns in the barrens if they were tameable.

Also bear spirit is pretty cool as consider only line imo. You really have some skill, when you made him/her signature I'd cant wait to see it

Here are some, let me know if you like them. Also if you'd like I can add a black and white hydra to the color your own pet skin post. I wanted to make the background transparent and not white, but photoshop is disagreeing with me. I'll have to try for that another time.

I wanted to, but it takes me a long time to do that stuff in photoshop because that program likes to hate me Yay! I won't have to use the extract tool now thank you, its evil I tell you...evil.

How is that?
I mean, there is some stuff that just makes it impossible to have the background transparent, like the shadow of your name in your signature. But otherwise, just save it as GIF and check the "transparency" box. Or what seems to be the problem?

Only the shadow was causing problems.

Oh I just fuss about photoshop because I don't use it enough, I'm sure its perfectly manageable for someone who does not hit cancel accidentally and then has to retrace things
I've been practicing with it more lately since I'll be doing more web design work and less print based things. I guess it just makes me nervous because it seems more complicated than what I'm used to working with, I'm slowly growing to love it tho.
That tip is awesome tho thank you I will def try it next time.

I always wondered how you got those outlines of the beasts anyway!
Any tips or hints on that?

I use illustrator It's my favorite program. For these pets I usually make a sketch or take a screen shot and just drag it onto its own layer and lock it. If its really dark i'll use transparency to make it lighter. Then I use the pen tool to outline the object. Then I'll make every color inside the object as a closed shape. After that I select the outer line and make the stroke one or two points thicker than the rest. That is how I get the cartoony outline. If it were for a job I might go more fancy and use all kinds of effects and gradient meshes, but since forums and emails can't hold much data and sometimes the quality can go down a bit so I keep it as simple as possible.

Oh, that sounds like you really have to put work and effort into it.
