i planned to make an troll druid before as an alt...now it's forcing me

Haha, I knew I should have waited before posting up my own topic about the flight form. XD

But YAY IT'S A BAT! *flails around happily*
As I said in my now-redundant topic, I think it still needs a little more work, such smoothing out some of the rough animations. But other than that I'm stupidly happy to see they didn't cop out and just make a tusked crow. This suits them perfectly!

Seriously, I think they're trying to discourage people from making troll druids. First the drag queen-like bear and cat forms, now this monstrosity. What's next?

SB, I keep scrolling back and forth between the model and your drawing and I'm in awe. Are you psychic? I'd love some lottery numbers.

I'm not too keen on the model, mostly because I really don't like the bat model in general, but I'm very glad they chose not to use a bird. This definitely makes a lot more sense.

Edit: Loethin, I'm fairly certain I saw the balance druid skins somewhere - they were just recolours of the tauren and night elf skins if I'm not mistaken.

Moonkin will be MOONKIN. The reason flight form is a bat is that the Darkspear Trolls DETEST birds. They find them to be weak creatures that should be left to the Amani Trolls.

And quite frankly, the colourful cat and bears forms suit Trolls PERFECTLY. Notice their neon coloured hair? Yeah. That. See the neon coloured fur for their feral forms? Get it? Would you rather them not look ANYTHING like their humanoid forms?! They are perfect, dammit. And you know what? A LOT of people actually quite like how Troll Druids look so far. I happen to LOVE them. Neon coloured fur and all.

Blizz is making it really hard for me to stick to my Goblin Shaman Main idea when they keep making Troll Druids so epically cool. First Kitty (and bear) forms and now this?!?!

Must agree on that. I highly doubt I'll be playing one of my many planned Worgen or my planned Goblin Warlock after seeing how freakin' EPIC Troll Druids are gonna be. I mean, I love Druids and adore Trolls even more! Not to mention I love bats, and neon furred animals! GAAAAAAHHHH THIS IS GONNA BE SO AWESOME.

But seriously. Neon coloured cats/bears, bats for flight form.. The fact that Trolls are already the most amazing race EVER.. And that Druids are awesome too! WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THIS?! EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! *Spazzes out*

Ok, guys, relax, hahah.
Trolls are my favourite race, really. And yeah, I know about the bird-hate, so I know why it should be a bat.
But I'm very aggravated about the colours, on all the druid forms. They're garish, mismatched and hurt my eyes. Sure, they fit the Trolls, but uh. NElves and Taurens can have more subdued colourings, especially NElves, despite having neon-coloured hair, just like the Trolls. So what's up with that?
But it's not the reason I don't like the bat. It fits straight into uncanny valley for me, it has too much Troll features on it for me to be comfortable with. Colours are fine on the bat.

Maybe I should've specify that in the first place.

yup i am psychic..autism though that has nothing to do with that..that was just the nerdiest rage i ever been into...*facepalm shouldn't have reacted like that...even now i'm wondering why i did it..i think i just like the bat-form to much

This flight form is TRULY AWESOME and almost makes up for the hideousness of the cat and bear forms.

I am actually more inclined to stay Tauren now. I just dont like it. I may be in the minority, and I'm all for the Bat idea, its just the mohawk seems too large or something.
