I was casually hanging around in Dalaran yesterday when a friend of mine messaged me that he spotted Krush in Sholazar. I grouped up with him and asked him to hold it until I got there. He's a Paladin, so I expected him to be able to take a few hits from the big green until I showed up.

Excited for a possible Krush tame, I made a beeline for the Basin, and had almost met up with my friend when he messaged me again. A draenei shaman had shown up and was beating on Krush, despite the fact that my friend had tagged him. I arrived and attempted a tame, but the shaman had gained so much threat that Krush wouldn't change target to me. I sat there and watched helplessly as he keeled over and died. The shaman flew away with no loot and no achievement step.

I've been fuming about it since then. I just don't understand people.

You have my sympathy. I don't know why anyone would do that. Happened to me too.

WTF! I would have gone mad. Can't beilve people do things like that...

People are jerks like that. I would've had a few words with the shaman and let him know that he didn't get the kill for Frostbitten and just killed him for nothing. Then proceeded to put him up on WoWJackass.

I contemplated rolling up an Alliance toon just to yell at him, but I figured it would probably just be a waste of time. I've resigned myself to just be angry about it forever, or at least until I succeed in taming Krush -- which is probably going to take a while.

I am sorry that happened.. and sadly It happens alot. Especially with Krush for some reason.. I dont understand what people dont get when the beast is already being hit by someone, what point is it to kill it... I would have yelled at that shammy thats for sure.

Sometimes they do it with good intentions; if there's no hunter there or the hunter's not taming they think they need help killing it. Usually they're jackasses though. xD

Well someones that can be the case.. but he must have seen her try and tame King krush. Ive seen too many people obviously see that we are taming or trying to.. (the big hearts.. I mean they arent hard to see lol) I just never get the whole thing..

You have my sympathy as well. Same thing sorta happened to me a week or so ago, only I found Krush. 72 pally killed him. -much hugs- You'll get him eventually. Don't give up.

I had one person run over to "help" while I was taming Arccy, I had a please don't kill macro which I pressed, they left me be, and I messaged them explaining. They were good with it.

That said, the guy probably was a jerk.
