Since its from MMO.Champ its gotta be real.

Sweet, adorable, killable Gamon is now a level 85 elite in Beta. So if you have not had any of your toons kill him for no good reason besides him being killable before Cata comes out, go do it now. Because at 85 I'm thinking he'll be able to take down anyone now.

I'd love to know if he's got an upgraded loot table or any other special spells added.

I always hated to see him slaughtered (I'm a Tauren fan!).

I really hope some people attack him out of a habit and get their asses kicked really hard and really good!

46k points of damage? We'll he'll almost one shot anything now in WoW except some extreme tanks, but in Cata it seems not uncommon to have 80k hp, so not sure if he'll do enough to kill anyone then.

Suddenly I feel really REALLY bad for new Death Knights.

You can't see it in the picture on the mmo-champ front page, but the thread on their forums he got the picture from shows that the warlock that took 'em had just over 125k hp when he engaged Gamon. He got four-shotted - two for ~35k, the one there for 46k, and a nice lil' finisher with tons of overkill. Of course we don't know whether the warlock fought back - some elites are pushovers that can't take a hit, after all.

Noooo! I felt so proud when I killed Gamon for the first time! Curse you, Gamon! It was an initiate rite for any hordie, if you asked me. Killing Gamon. They should make it a feat of strength to kill him in small mode.

I really can't wait to see how many groups, Horde or Alliance, get together to try to take him down since now that Gamon's an 85 elite shouldn't he now serve as a rite of passage for people who've hit 85.

Those new DKs going through Org at the end of their quest chain better ride like the wind for fear of "Gamon the Buff".

More like the Alliance should kite him to SW, and the Horde should just watch and and let them be to see the destruction that will ensure. Or to Shatt. No one likes the Naaru.

Speaking of the Naaru... I miss seeing people kite Varedis all of the way to Shatt to 'visit' A'dal. lol

I never really kited all that much...I think my biggest kite (and it's a short one, but I need a quest kill lol) was taking the Fel Reaver into Thrallmar cause I needed the body lol. Then later I did it again for fun (cause a hordie kited Fellie into the Ally town earlier) and he killed quite a few guards (and some players). But really, I don't usually kite all that much.

I did log into Shat one day and had a Fel Reaver standing over me lol. They killed him inside the Aldor bank, so you couldn't see anything in there except lots of metal.

No, I think he just wanted to see how hard he hit. If I recall correctly, Gamon has around 1750k hp.

OT, but I had to try. 4.0 is boring me out of my skull. He's still doable.

But he bugs if you try to pull him to Adal's room. At least from the lower spire.
