It seems the shale spiders still don't have a regular special attack and carrion birds still have their old ability what do you think their new abilitys will be?

Carrion birds got updated so their ability no longer deals damage. There's been speculation on the shale spider ability here.

I see I would love for the shale spiders to have a blind!
