How do you pronounce the more obscure pet names in your mind? Even if you did some research and looked up the correct pronunciation, how did you read those names before you were sure?

Lets start out with Loque'Nahak (I read it as "Loke-nuh-hawk").
What about Aotona? Araga?

This probably seems like a dumb topic, but I'm always curious to know how different peoples' minds work. :O

Loque: Loke-nuh-heek
Araga: Air-ah-guh
Aotona: Ay-ah-tone-ah

I pronounce Loque'nahak as Lock-nuh-hawk.
Aotona - Ay-oh-tone-ah
Araga - Ah-rah-gah

Loque'nahak: "Loki-nah-hawk" or "Loke-nah-hawk"
Aotona: "Ah-oh-tone-uh" or "Aw-tone-uh"
Araga: "Arh-ah-gah"

Loque= Lo-queh-na-hark... Which I know is abolutely wrong, but it's how I've always said it. XD
Araga= Ar-ah-gah
Aotona= Ay-oh-tone-ah
Rak'shiri= Rahk-she-ree (to add a new pet to the list )

Loque: Lo-que-nai-hak (hak pronounced like a quick hook)
Araga: Är-aga (Ä pronounced like the a in say)
Aotona: Auto-nah

Loque = Loke-nah-hakk
Aotona = ow-toe-nah
Araga = air-uh-guh

I've heard (and used) both LOW-kay nah-HAK and Loke Nah-HAK for Loque. The former first, the latter later when I got too lazy for the extra syllable and just picked up the way my guildies pronounced it

AYE-oh TONE-uh for the bird.

Ar-AG-ah for the cat.

Loque'nahak - low-'kwah-nah-ack
Aotona - aye-'oh-toe-nah
Araga - ah-'rah-gah
Gondria - gohn-'tree-uh
Arcturis - arc-'tuh-reese
Skoll - sk'owl (like an owl)

And so on.

EDIT: yes, as long as everyone else is doing it...
Loethlin - 'low-eh-thlin ( like 'thin" though I am not.)

Loque'nahak = lock-nuh-HACK

I sort of always figured the "H" in Loque'Nahak was silent? I'm not good with pronunciations, lol. I'll try.

Loque'Nahak = just as it is spelled. small q sound instead of a sharp K sound.

Aotona = aeo tona

Araga with an inflection at the a in the end. Also roll the r

Loque'Nahak: Lao*-quee-Nah-hawk
Aotona: Aye-oh-tone-ah
Araga: Ar-ag-ah

Drassil: Drass-ill
Varali: Var-all-eee

Loque'Nahak - Lo-kweh na-hawk or Lo-kweh Na-awk if the H were silent, as I suspect it is in the name "Harkoa". Sorry, but to me, qu makes the 'kw' sound, as in 'queen' not just the 'k' sound.
Aotona - ay-o to-na, with the 'ay' rhyming with 'hey'
Araga - Ar ah ga, with 'ar' sounding like the word 'are' (we are going to the store)
Rak'shiri - Rawk sheeree, with the shee ree said fast. very light on the 'w', closer to 'rock'
Harkoa - I suspect it's Ar-ko-ah, but could also be Har-ko-ah or Har-ko-uh, depending on weather or not the h was silent.

I suspect that Loque and Harkoa would be more open air sounds than you'd think. With more 'ah's then 'uh's, simply because their names are troll in origin. After all, look at the word "Loa" which is pronounced low-ah or low-uh with a bit more air, sounding closer to a fast 'ah'. And after all, trolls say "Mahn!" or "Mon!". I expect "ah' sounds from them, like in 'atom' or 'alter'.

My chars are:
Kyonarai(shammy) - Key-on-ar-ay
Casdia(hunter) - cas dee-uh
Antonietta(hunter) - An-ton-yetta, with a very slight ee sound before the y. Just something a bit different from the more well known Antoinette/tta, which is An-twon-etta
Kenautti(druid) - pretty much said like Keh-naughty, with less g, so more like Keh-nawty. the 'naut' rhymes with 'hot'
Kanaqi(priest) - Kah-nah-kee
Kyriza(mage) - Keeree-za
Kaeya(paladin) -Kay-uh

Loque'nahak = Lo-Kay Na-Hok
Aotona = Ow-Toe-Nah (I haven't seen anyone else who pronounces it like this QQ )

For my some of my more unusual pet names:
Uatahe = Wa-Ta-Hay
Retam = Ray-tahm
Dirag = Deer-og
Omacuda = Oh-Mah-Koo-Da

And for my hunter and druid:
Lohuran = Loh-who-ron
Tahega = Ta-Hay-ga

*And because some people can't pronounce my warrior's name!:
Aberard = Ab-Er-Ard (Exactly as it's spelled!) OR Ah-bear-ard

Sat - Like the first part in satellite
Saturo - Sat-uh-ro
Vuur - Like the Dutch word
Ovaktalo - Ov'-ahk-talo
Nus - Like the word noose, but faster
Sargeras - Sar-ghe-Ras
