4.0.3 and The Beast

don't recall him supposing to lose his "boss" tag. But it has happened.
I don't recall also reading about this or seeing this in beta. The Beast of UBRS as a pet in 4.0.3 lost his "-1 level" and boss tag. BOOO.

Slight update --- he has "21" talent points. Screwy.

It's been announced on the beta for a while now that he's losing his boss tag. He got turned into a normal level 62 or whatever mob as opposed to an actual boss, thus his unfortunate loss of tags.

My "The Beast" has 21 talent points and has had them since i tamed him right as 4.0.1 came out. I wouldn't say it makes him overpowered but it sure is something different
. Hopefully he stays one point higher than all my pets at 85.

You can get Magmadar from Molten Core if you still want a red core hound with the boss tag at least. (Not sure if thats possible in the current 4.0.3 or after the Sundering).

The 21 points is a bug that happens for some exotic pets. If I recall correctly, Devilsaurs and Core Hounds get that extra point because they unlearn Dash, and Spirit Beasts unlearn Charge. You still see the point placed in the talent tree but the skill isn't in your pet's spell book.
