The legen---wait for it--dary patch that is 4.0.3a is on the PTR as of now.. but with a 3.2GB download. Mmo-champion is reporting this as the release and foresees it to go live NEXT WEEK. =O

I don't think it's only 3 gig's. This a huge patch so it's file size is going to be reflect this.

Ok the 3Gig thing was my bad. I have Cata pre-downloaded.. so it was only 3 for me.. might be more for everyone else. I'm on the PTR right now...

Yeah I definitely dont think thats next week. Too big of a patch. They'd never release that so soon. It'd have to be the week before cata, which is the week after Thanksgiving, which is a week before Cata. 11/30 is the date I predict. Makes more sense.

I wonder how much longer the Beta will run for. They must be taking it down somewhat soon with release on the horizon.

I thought so to but Boubouille thinks it will be out next week.

For how long beta will stay up ? I think it will be like Lich King beta from which I heard stayed online till a few days before the release date.

As do I. However doesn't change that I think it's to early. I guess they want to make sure the bugs are worked out before the release day ?

I'm quite sure that's what they're aiming for. It'd be a bit silly not to give it a week at least to fix bugs before the release date itself. I'm looking forward to bit faster ghost gryphons.. >.>

I think it'd be silly for the ele city invasions for last much longer than a week.. ya know?

Isnt that what the PTR is for?

One would assume so. But if you look at all the balance issues they had after 4.0 (+ other bugs. The pumpkin one I shall never forget. ), I suppose they can't predict everything. And the gryphon bug for example, existed on beta for months before 4.0 went live. And it didn't even cross my mind that bliz would somehow manage to deploy it on live servers, even after ptr. ._.

Also, the scourge invasion in total, it didn't last much longer than a week or two, didn't it?

yah it is but we all know how buggy patches are when they go live.

That's cause everyones screwing around when they're on the PTR.. i know for certain some live bugs are based on the fact that no one does what is bugged on the PTR. I can't dismount in netherwing ledge.. do you think people went do to the netherwing dailies on the PTR? prolly not.

HOBOY. Here we go. Big patches... Me wrestling for hours with this thing... Helping my guildmates who having trouble. Fun times. =P

What I find funny is the patch that was released today... Which was supposed to be a simple bug fixes one... Ended up causing more bugs. >.< Including that really bad ICC Gunship one.

What's wrong with lootship? (euro servers are not up yet..)

Also, I wonder if they're planning to let us fly in Silvermoon and Exodar or not. o.O
