I've been checking out the PTR lately and love the goblin mounts. I have a TON of runecloth on my cloth bank alt. The only thing is... I don't see any runecloth npcs.

Does anyone know if they have a cloth npc or is it all just gained through the tabard?

Runecloth turn-ins for rep are being removed. Instead you'll be able to buy the faction's tabard at friendly and gain rep by wearing the tabard in level-appropriate dungeons.

Edit: I should have read your whole post before replying. Yes, only the tabards (and questing) will get you rep with the faction.

I had been saving up runecloth for this as well. Looks like I'd better hit up the AH before others catch on!

I can imagine it'll still sell well between tailoring and people wanting to rush a few quick rep gains before the patch.

I'm left wondering when the tabard will work. I did a couple heroics in ptr and no gilneas rep gained. -_- Although I did manage to get half through friendly by doing Darkshore quests. This was as a non-human loremaster.

A quick question -- even if you can't turn in runecloth for the Horde/Alliance factions anymore, can you still turn it in for Timbermaw Hold?
