Greetings all,

I know there was a fairly large thread about being able to tame Gezzarek again in Cata. But I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone tell me, will she be tameable today once the servers come up? Thanks.

Yes.

You'll need to have done the quest chain and have 10 Time-Lost Scrolls to summon though.

Or you could be a jerkface and just sit there and try to steal other hunter's tames. Protip: Don't be a jerkface. Do the one hour trek to summon her yourself. (the preceding wasn't directed at anyone, unless you are a jerkface.)

Woot!!! Thanks for the rapid response. I don't intend to be a jerkface, since I've already purchased 40 Time-Lost Scrolls from the AH in advance. (Got extras in case I screwed it up!!)

When I tamed him, I did it with the help of a paladin. Wait for knockback, Sap (well, Judgment), tame. With 10 seconds, that should be more than enough time to tame you a Gezz without worrying about the second knockback! ... of course, that's only if you don't feel like getting Gezz solo.

In Beta when I tamed Gezz I didn't have to do anything special. I summoned her, hit tame, and that was all there was to it. The reduced tame time is fast enough that it should complete before any problems happen.

I really like the Blue one too, but my goal for Tapeworm (Horde Hunter) is unique skin. Meaning one beast = usually named = one skin.

I am trying to spread the love by hitting as many families as I can, but there are certain families that will get left out. Like... I have to get every single Spirit Beast, but the fox, raptor, and bear families might get left behind on Tapeworm.

When we had 5 stable slots and heard we were getting 20 more it seemed like a lot... but having 19 (or more) pets now it doesn't seem like it is that much room. Considering how long it took to get Blizzard to update the size... it might be some time before we have another increase... IF we have another. Even if they gave us 100 slots we would all complain at some point that we need more.

Regarding taming... I was able to solo tame her in beta and she did knock me back once, but didn't have enough time to do it again before she was mine.

Are purple crocs avail in 4.0.3a now too? I member a Gosh-Hadir but i dont member if he was purple or not

Nah, she's classified as being 'green'. The only purple croc is a summoned mob in Uldum, that like an 85 or something, and is part of a quest.

Purple's a mighty good color! Though, I have to say I have so many pets I'm just regular exploding. /happy Now if only servers didn't come up at 7PM my time. ><

Can Frost Trap(Freezing Trap((Can't remember which one) be used to tame Gezzarek? Or is she immune to traps?
