New model, new name.

With the Shattering, my lovely Scarlet Tracking Hound has gone from being a pretty red hyena to an actual hound. I don't know that I really like the new mastiffs, but I'm willing to give her a chance. However, the name Flynn no longer really suits her, and I was hoping for some suggestions as to a new name. I'm open to just about anything, but please no joke ("Bacon" the pig) or cutesy ("Wiggles") names.

How about Fang, after Hagrid's Boarhound?

I second this, but Fang was more brown than red, though that shouldn't matter much.

Her hm? How do mythology names sound? :)
Macha
Athena
Artemis
Bendis

Some others:
Dutchess (not so much mythology, just a good dog name hehe)
Xena (yes, i'm thinking 'warrior princess' here)

My SM Mastiff sports the name Hercules. :D

Those mastiffs always remind me of something noble, and I wish that Duke was allowed. Its just so fitting. I named mine Blake, but hrm...

- Duchess (if it'll be allowed, but unsure)
- Bella
- Koda
- Sonata
- Kuma
- Venus
- Matisse
- Ophelia
- Sheba
- Juno

"Duchess" is confirmed to be reserved.

I think I'll be going with either Cautious (which has that feminine "ess" sound at the end, but doesn't strike me as being overly girly) or Macha.

I named mine Winston, after Winston Churchill. He just seemed like the type. As I later learned, "Churchill" seems to be a rather common name for the English Mastiff (usually just called "Mastiff"), which the pet's model seems mostly based on (the main difference being the model's ears are perked, while the mastiff's ears droop).

I initially wanted to name him "Baron", but that name belongs to an NPC's pet hound, so I couldn't. Pity.
