After my Ashtail failure I went with my inner geek and headed to Felwood.

Heh. I also named mine Cringer. First thing I did after logging on last night was to head up to Felwood (and get the stinkin new FP's along the way) to tame the guy. Then it was off to get lost in the new Orgrimmar and get flooded with whispers about my green kitty.

Is there a way for alliance to do this without waiting on a gorde to do the quest? Any help would be nice.

There was no one else around when I tamed him, as far as I know no one initiated the quest so I guess he just spawns.

He's just kinda wandering around past the large building on the path to Bloodvemon post. Tamed him and he popped up a few seconds later.
Also named him Cringer because..well..c'mon! How can you Not?
