Super sad, no Chromaggus for me :(

Cannot, even when I am offering a 100g paid bounty to each member of a group who can help me get through BWL up to Chromaggus, get ANYONE who will help me get through on my level 80, 2.9 whgs hunter.
Gah!
Only guilds that are recruiting right now are the ones going after ICC raids and they all want me on at ridiculous times to raid given that I get up every day at 4 or 5 server time for work. And my current guild is nothing but myself, my level 72 hunter friend and all our alts.
Anyways the point of this post is thus: from everything that I am seeing, I am going to have to wait till I hit 85 and hopefully have a guild that is willing to run through this for me, or hopefully by then my hunter friend and I will be able to solo it. Has there been any talk of instances like this one being removed? I always hear about such things too late, and if it is going soon, I might just have to spam the Argent Crusade and get more gold to offer for a group to run me through.

I had to offer 300g before I got any inquiries. and I paid the repair bills as well because of the bugged boss. (doing the soft reset fixed it for us). Yeah, its really tough getting a group for it.

I was promised (or at least it seemed like a promise at the time) last week to be escorted through BWL and AQ40 yesterday and today...
Now all of the sudden no one wants to help, and they would rather run heroic dungeons to get exalted with the goblins to get their mount.
I am sort of upset that I had planned since last week to do it with a few people who said they would help... but I can't get too upset with them.
....but if Blizzard removes the ability to tame Chromaggus and the green wasp before I can get them I am going to be PISSED.

I have a similar problem, but I'm in a guild full of 80s... the other night they promised me we'd get him today, but now everyone is telling my 'they don't wanna'. So much for a helpful guild D: What's worse is they all also want him, and I just know they're gonig to make groups of alts when I'm not in and go in to tame it X_x

300g a person or for the entire group?
300g a person I wouldn't be able to afford right now unless I was just getting two people.
Can you do this instance with a hunter, a tank and a healer?
And see, thats why I'm not in a rush to find a guild to join so I can ask people for help with this. I like my small guild-just me my friend and our alts, lol, but I hate how limited we are on raids, having to pug just about everything.
Think getting this guy will be much easier come 85?

Aria and I just tried to twoman tthe first boss, everything was going fine, I thought I had all aggro on Shango who was doing well/holding out well. And then all a sudden it was just oh god orcs and dragons everywhere and then the boss and then we died- we tried clicking the orb repeatedly [and I spam clicked without even having aggro on me and nothing. First wipe; nada.
The second was worse; I thought we were doing even better and then the swarm arrived and along with the swarm the orb glitched out again. When it did finally work, the mobs all aggroed the boss for some cocked up reason and then Aria died and I was left alone and then SUDDENLY EXPLOSION and Shango and I died along with everything else.
So I finally just ticketed it, it'd be doable if we could atleast CLICK THE ORB AND HAVE IT WORK 100% of the time >_<

Well... I was offered 1K for a group, heal/tank just to get here - no response...
And I'm not into guild /sad
So... Will wait then.

That is looking like what I have to do. I would join a guild if I could find a good one. Sadly no luck on that front, as the 'adult guilds' that I have found so far have young 20-somethings who talk about nothing but drinks and partying in the vent. Not my style so I really dont want to listen to it all.

I wouldn't panic. I am 100% certain they're intentionally tameable and won't change.
It really sucks, however, that people who promised you help are no longer interested. But it's only 2 days into the patch, so hopefully they'll help you soon. If not... at least in a few weeks you'll be able to duo BWL and solo AQ.

My guild is an achievement guild and pre patch we ran BWL almost weekly, so I figured Hey! I'll manage to get my pet!
No one wants to do anything but ICC (to be fair we ARE on Sindy) and heroics or start new characters. No one will even answer me with a no when I ask if a few people can run with me.
Trade? Tried, and I'm not offering money because I'm poor as dirt and even if I had the gold it's not worth it to deal with the people on my server :/
Some day. Some day he will be mine and I will most likely dance until I log from afk while I dance irl as well.

I did it with just the tank, healer and myself, so it only cost 600g to get the run.

Just finished running BWL myself with the guildies. The only issue we had with the first boss was the tank accidently released and couldn't get Razor back intime and he randomly blew up the raid for some weird reason.
Anyways, after all the eggs died, I held my breath, then the fight continued. When he died, held breath again and he died normally with loot and opened the door. Cleared the rest of BWL and I tamed Chromaggus :3

Are you sure it was glitched?
Dunno if this is helpful, but--if the person controlling the orb gets hit, it will push back the "control cast," meaning it will break the mind control--and with the debuff you get, you can only click the orb every 30 seconds or something. If you were utterly swarmed, chances are the person controlling was getting hit and losing the MC.
Oh, and one other thing--I learned the hard way last night that if you spam click the orb, it will use/cancel before you have a chance to see it, leaving you with the debuff and no MC >.>

Oh I know that- but I had no aggro, I clicked the orb- no aggro no hits no nothing they were focused on Aria and Shango; and nothing. No buff, debuff, nothing. After that passed was when I frantically started clicking the orb, but nada. Even when we started up the event the second time, I clicked the orb... nada.

Yeah but I only started frantically clicking/spam clicking when OH GOD WHY DID THE FIRST CLICK NOT WORK!?
I still also don't get how the boss, even after Aria died, even WHILE he was being MC'd, was being attacked by the orcs and dragonkin and then well yeah. Explosion.

Wow, after reading all these posts, I guess I'm really lucky that my guild was willing to help me. We only have 4 people in our guild, but that's good enough! I got it with 3 others helping me, a tank, healer and one other dps. It is possible that we could have done it without the extra dps.
Anyway, I just signed up to say I would be willing to help anyone on Dalaran. I can't help this week on my hunter, but I have a geared tank who could do it.

The MC'd boss is hostile to ALL the mobs in the room, and will be attacked by them.
When they spawn they run straight to whoever's controlling, but if the orb's not working even from the start, you need to put your pet away
Can't have pet out + control orb. With any luck one of these things will help
