Look lets face it, we all in the guild Petopia want him. But a group of hunters going after him and only one can tame? Yha someone is leaving Houndless. So heres my question. Is there any way to get through that dungion solo?

At 80 it's barely possible to duo the first boss let alone solo it.

No.

Due to the fight mechanics (and aside from needing to be in a raid to do it), nobody (regardless of level and class) can solo the first boss, Razorgore the Untamed.

However, once getting to Chromaggus, you can easily solo tame him on just that fight.

You do not need a whole team of hunters going in to the raid. BWL can be done with only 2-3 people so long as they know what they're doing (and sometimes not knowing what they're doing).

Hate to be a party crasher also but also I believe you can't solo your way to Chrom, and even duo'ing the first boss is about luck, planning and almost impossible. I'd say minimum would be 3 but I the first boss should be 5-mannable easily or 4 manned.

I enlisted help from my guildmates for the first two bosses, the fights are pretty short and there's no trash. The other bosses can be soloed quite easily - save for Ebonrock with his self-healing debuff on the tank. But you can skip him and go straight for Chromie.

Moreover, I got 5 elementium ores from trash and saved them for the lucky day when my husband finally gets his second binding from MC

No, you cannot solo the first boss, and probably not the second boss either.

However, there's a way for a group of hunters to easily get him, which is what we're planning on doing next week.

A new raidlock system has been put it place. Which raid bosses you kill are now saved to your character, as opposed to a group number that everybody in the raid shares. What does this mean for us tame-crazy hunters? Well, theoretically if everybody leaves the raid except for one person, they will not be saved to any boss that one person goes on to kill or tame. So, if all goes well, we can get a raid of Petopain hunters together, flatten the rest of BWL, have everybody leave the instance and drop the raid, then start getting people in there seperately and taming their very own Chromaggus. It may be that we'll need to wait some time for the instance to soft reset after we initially drop group, but everyone will get a chromaggus this way.

Top tip (for me) - get a group of hunters who all have at least one other level 80 (well, 70+ really)

That way you can get 2-3 tames per lockout by only taking one hunter each run. The more alts people have, the better.

Oh, is the raid lockout for ALL raids now in effect? (I didn't read the patch notes completely yet)

Not a CHANCE. This isnt UBRS, hun. This is BWL, one of the end game raids of vanilla wow. The first boss would one shot you in an instant cause you need two tanks to keep mobs off of you while you mind control the actual boss and kill all the eggs.

You need ATLEAST 5 people with you. 4 is calling it a big close cause these bosses and trash are very tough.

Duo first boss is possible if you stand under the MC-device and get a druid with u who just use healing aggro and an aoe ability to keep aggro and just run around. when ur MC timer is almost over place him as far away as possible and u can MC again by the time he reaches u

About chromaggus i wanna take some guildie hunters with me but if we start killing bosses than we get a raid id and are locked,
but i guess that if you tame Chromaggus hes not actually killed so he respawns again? as normally if you leave a raid with the same id and u enter again and a tamed Chromaggus is concidered as a kill it will announce u that u will get saved to an instance with those bosses killed.
i tried but cant find any posts about raid lockout and taming Chromaggus. Anyone allready checked that here?

I have never been to the Blackwing lair, but want to tame Chromaggus too ^^
Anyway, a friend I spoke with who is willing to help me said there used to be a quest you have to do before being allowed to enter the instance. Does this still persist, or is it removed so we can just enter?

You need the quest to use the Orb of Something or Another, but there's also an entrance in UBRS.

Outside of the instance is a handful of Orcss. Kill the one who is a Quatermaster and he drops an item that starts the quest. Enter UBRS, run all the way through to the boss-General Drakkisath, kill him and touch the orb behind him.

Now you are attuned to BWL. To get into BLW, leave UBRS, go back as if you were running to go in, instead of entering the instance, turn right, run all the way down the hall to the green orb. That is your entrance point once you are in a raid.

I've been trying to find people on my server who are willing to go-have even offer payment, with now luck. I have one level 74 hunter friend. Going to see if we can manage to get ourselves through the first two bosses. If we can manage that, I can do the rest and get Chromaggus for myself.

Went in with a pally and DK, with the pally being a tank in ICC gear...that was tough, and couldn't get MC of the boss again in time before he would mass kill us all. So far, I haven't been able to get passed the first boss cause of this...these guys are tough.

I brought along two guildies, and we were on skype so they basically told me what to do and what not to do, and we got there in the end When we got there, it was my game and they could only watch xD
I brought a corehound and popped ancient hysteria and dismissed before I pulled the lever. When I started to tame it was showing that it was increased to 12sec, and I thought this was not going to end well. After 6sec though, he flashed and was mine
I brought along a priest and a pala, and we wiped on first boss. Autoshot targeted the boss so he killed us all in one shot. xD Anyway, no other problems, so absolutely possible to 3-man
However, we died on the huge dragon boss when he had not that much hp left, and couldn't get back in.

No way to solo first boss sorry mate

Are you 100% sure on this? Because from what I hear this only works on 10/25 people raids (which no old world raids are), and according to some guildies even Ulduar has a problem with the flexible lock setup.
