Epic story. 6 am, debating bed, flying around scholzar basin. I have been hunting Krush for MONTHS. This is just 5 days after the cata patch. I fly around, picking herbs, checking all the usual spawns, and I decide to hell with it, I'm going to bed. I pass through once more, because I am obsessive and He is one of the last like..3 pets I want before the xpac drops.

You know what happens next...

woooooooooooooooooooonk NPC scanner goes off, Krush is RIGHT THERE. No one else in sight. After all, its 6 am. I swoop down, drop mount, my Ashtail (Cooper) is already desummoned. I hit tame beast...

and my heart stops.

I seriously was about to cry. a 26 year old man, crying. MONTHS of waiting for my chance, all this time only seeing his CORPSE, and Blizz TOOK HIM OUT OF THE GAME? NO LONGER TAMABLE?!!?! @%@$^$@#&Y^#&$#&

I switched to BM and tamed him no problem.

Something like this happened to me on my Krush hunt. This is my second time seeing Krush, the first time ended tragically. I swoop in and tame. It fails. Okay, we're good. Run to grab a mammoth: "Pet not Tamable." The hell? Weren't mammoths tamable at some point? Fine. Let's just grab Faruun the Rhi-"Pet Not Tamable." Now I'm going nuts, sobbing, panicking, make my way to the birds, and grab a new temp pet.

If you're curious, that round taming Krush failed too. BE Pally took him right under me.
