Having gotten back from a successful Thanksgiving with the family, I settled in for a potentially long camp to reunite with my beloved red hyena (who was unceremoniously turned into a drooly hound dog). No more than 30 minutes of camping later (along with a number of dead scorpions), Slaverjaw spawned in Tanaris, I tamed him, and Bonesnapper and I were together once more!

Later on I recruited my GM and an old friend (along with her henchman) to visit Blackwing Lair to tame Chromaggus. It wasn't easy getting to him (I was really glad we had the rogue for the suppression rooms), but taming him was easy as pie! We then went on to fight Nefarian, why not, who promptly broke my bow and left me weaponless. The druid healer and rogue were both overwhelmed by adds early in the fight, but my GM (on his death knight) and myself (along with my newly-tamed Chromaggus) fought Nefarian to the bitter end and took him down. Hooray, hunter melee!

Following my triumphant delivery of Nefarian's head to Stormwind, I took a few screenshots with my new monster, now named Chromageddon:



All in all, an excellent day!

We went in for a friend's Chrom tame and decided to do Nefarian as well... I lost my bow really early on (I still don't know what to look for, I didn't see anything to indicate I should unequip it! ) and fought the rest of the fight melee, spamming KC every time it was up! I actually managed to maintain ~3.5k dps with a cunning pet, I was mighty proud of my newly acquired bone bird.

lol, you did exactly what I did on Nef after my Chrom tame. I think I might have gotten in a dozen shots with my bow before the first call was hunter. In a side note, I was amused that he calls a death grip on DK's.

LOL i forgot about that! My Bow broke on that fight to!! Lol and yes, me and my Chrommy (Vlakorados) took him down with help from a bought warrior and bought shammy. melee hunters FTW!!
