Anyone has any suggestion of how a level 10 horde hunter can get his hands on moth, ravager, and the rare cat from teldrassil? I tried corpse running but the problem is as soon as the boat enter a different zone and I rez, I got killed by the guards and get sent to darkshore...

any ideas?

I've been told you can get across with water walking without dying from fatigue. It might take a few tries, but it should def be doable. Once you get to Rutheran Island, apparently you can circle around to the back and only have to deal with two guards. What you need is to get through the gate to Darnassus, then you res at the Dolanaar graveyard. Yeah it'll suck to have to re-run it as a ghost, but if you can res and run through and then die inside the city, that'd be perfect.

As for Azuremyst, I've no idea. Perhaps try the drowning beneath the dock thing where you go on the boat as a ghost? Get to Azuremyst graveyard, relog, and try ressing there... worth a shot?

I think they fixed the relog rez last i tried i got ported way back to the grave yard i had been at previously

think people think, I cannot except the fact I have to wait for azeroth flying and a hitch a ride on a flying mount .

Die on the dock in front of the boat, wait for the boat to arrive, and res on the boat--this used to work, dunno if it still does, but the guards can't (well, couldn't?) path onto the boat, so would just stare at you ineptly.

Best suggestion I can give is try not to do it solo. I know I was able to get the ravager back in the 3.X days with the help of a warlock and a friends. It stinks but at the moment (before Cata) there really isn't much going on, so chances are someone will help. If not, bribe.

the guards on the boat that attack now and now all guards has ranged weapons XD

I'm just grateful, prior to the shattering my tauren hunter has already tamed the owl, moth and duskstalker.. and the ravager is my first orc's main pet..

I'm now rolling in a new realm just for kicks, trying stuff without the aid of heirlooms.

Just speaking from experience....you CANNOT run across the water without dying, even if you ARE dead. I tried to ghost run across with my dead Troll Priest.....and somehow he died when his Fatigue meter was up, leaving me no choice but to rez at the GY.

yeah my ghost died from fatigue too, thought they fixed that.

As far as I know, Azuremyst/Bloodmyst are exempt from the 'flying in Azeroth' thing. Because they're Burning Crusade material, I don't think they were really touched for this, so you can't fly in.

Though, by all means, if somebody has proof otherwise please correct me. This might be a good way in if this 'no flying' thing is already the case.

As for water walking....it sounds like this is for just WALKING. Is it possible to grab a friend or pay somebody with a multi-person mount to run you across? 100% increased speed could be a great boon for this.

Just tried this on the beta, flying to Azuremyst, that is. It's a no go. Your mount will fatigue and drop you, dead, into the ocean.

Also, it's a no go to flying in Azuremyst/Bloodmyst and Eversong/Ghostlands.

so can anyone from beta suggest that instead of rezing in darkshore gy, dead in rutheran get to port to dolanaar? or maybe suggest a boat from darkshore to rutheraan?

as it is now it is even hard for any horde to do any chieve required in either darnnassus or exodar; fishing, explore etc

I have proof! I was determined to get Duskstalker on my new undead hunter on nessingwary; and get him I did. I chose to swim to rutheran village from darkshore. You will die from fatigue, even as a ghost. The trick is to get your corpse as close as you can to the shore, and then run it while dead. You have to start off(while dead) from the furthest point of darkshore that sticks out into the water. Here:



Then you have to sneak past most of the guards and make it through the portal into darn. You will die immediately upon entering darn, and it will stick you at the graveyard in dolanaar. Spirit rez there and enjoy your tames!

btw at what level did your undead hunter tamed the rare?

and how in the world did you manage to evade the guards while at rutheraan and manage to enter darnnassus?
