Been running around looking at all the new tamables.

Found myself picking up This guy-and his picture does NOT do him justice. He is really a gorgeous cat, this shot is not the best for him.

I've also been surprised that I am really tempted to keep As I was never a fan of the carrion bird as a whole.

Anything that you've spotted and just had to tame, even though you originally thought you wouldn't go for it?

I'm surprised I kept Araga, to be honest. I was planning to ditch her for one of the new saber cats, but every cat I've tamed doesn't quite make as much of an impression on me as Araga did. I know her skin is no longer unique, but I will be keeping her nonetheless, and she will be the only cat in my stable.

I'm REALLY surprised I tamed Chromaggus. I didn't have too much interest in him initially, and was very happy with my Magmadar... but I ended up pugging into a BWL group, and when there weren't any other hunters I figured I'd give him a shot. So now I have TWO core hounds. xD

I'm also surprised that I haven't been able to part with any of my birds... I have 2 birds of prey and 3 carrion birds. O.o I'd like to have more variety in my stables, but I can't get rid of any of these guys! I'll list them off:
- Amun
- Darnovan
- Condar
- Spite
- Vultros

Too many birds! >.<

For me the biggest surprise were the three armored boars. I don't like pigs at all in real life and thought the squealing would drive me crazy. But I totally get a kick out of them now, and they really are good tanks for me. 2-manned the first boss in Tempest Keep by using one as the offtank : )

I mostly dropped pets that I taming spree'd before 4.0.3, I dumped the "original" Cerebus (white core hound) when I went to do BWL for Chromaggus (new Cerebus), I dumped regular core hound Magmadar when I went and tamed the real Magmadar. I dropped the black lion Pitch and the Orange Devilsaur after I had picked up Loque'Nahak and King Krush. I dropped my cursed offspring of har'koa cat for winna's kitten. And I'm debating now whether or not I'll keep Shango whom I inexplicably tamed before 4.0.3 on the off chance that the old Shango would have the old skin. Oh, I also dumped one of the Silithus Silithid yesterday for Vem, since Vem was the only one of the bug royals that I could get tamed before getting feared.

My parrot really grew on me. I'm kinda startled the white spotted frostsaber grew on me too. O_o As has my brain bug. At first I was like, ewww. Then I ran around with him and everyone loves him.

I'm surprised to have tamed and kept Ungula, the purple nether ray :

There's a few for me; tamed on a whim (some because I was with my friend and grabbed 'em as she did) and now staying:

Strap is totally Sara's style, surprisingly. I love him.

I saw a post by Acherontia from the ptr and liked this guy's look, so I picked him up. Absynthe won me over in 0.5 seconds.

Wasn't going to get one of these but when the encounter reset after her tame I thought why the hell not. I wasn't completely convinced until I found the perfect name - Tallulah is my other silithid (the ant model who I also tamed on a whim and loooooove!) Malone's on-again-off-again flame.

Definitely this. I nabbed her on Silinrul just a few hours ago.

See originally I was heading to catch a boat at Stormwind. I came from Northrend, so I landed in Menethil Harbor. I figured hey, I'm in the area...I'll go to Loch Modan and check out one of those golden eagles. I saw them on Hadyn yesterday and figured they looked interesting, Silinrul might fit with one.

So I tamed one, and at first I was really disappointed. Her fight was glitchy, like the crow models used to be! I ran to the water to see if she flew correctly while swimming--she did. Disappointed, I ran back up onto land and figured I'd release her, but then--she flew normally. Oh....okay. Maybe she just had to despawn/respawn. And...when I run, she GLIDES after me. COOL! And she flies up to get things in the air...SWEET. And what's this button? "Trick"? I wonder what this do--OMG MY EAGLE DOES A FLIP WHEN I PRESS IT. SO COOL!

So Ulvirel is officially Sil's new pet of sheer awesome, she's very majestic and I love her, but totally hadn't planned on loving her this much XD

you know what would be awesome is if it's trick was to divebomb gnomes...much hilarity should ensue.

For my main hunter, I've never been a big fan of "pets you can't easily hug", which means no ghost pets, not many bugs, so on and so forth. I let go my ghost worm and Gondria because of it, and am still toying with releasing Temil the glow-bear... so it completely shocked me when I fell in love with this guy:



Thoth is nothing at all like her usual style, but for some reason the more he's there with her, the more I like him. Go figure!

*makes unintelligible murloc noises*

Pygmalion is single-handedly screwing up my stable right now. I was going to have a blue warp stalker (<3<3<3) on Kalliope for fun (and also the snare)! But now it seems that I may not be getting one on her after all (which throws Kallimon's stable into disarray, but that's another story entirely). I liked this croc from the get-go, but didn't expect a keeper. After all, I have Gumbo. Why does Kalliope need a croc too? *sigh* I'm very torn about giving up this guy too, since he actually spawned for me as the Large Loch Crocolisk before the patch while I was taking Ursa to visit himself before those bears were removed forever. So I'm attached and kinda don't want to morph him. Sigh! xD

Definitely the seagull. Dai has really captured my heart. I have Trick macro'd so I can click him for a loop-de-loop in mid-run, and the seagull noises make me absolutely glee. The fact he's so tiny is an absolute joy for me as well. I love my big pets, but the teeny little seagull is just my absolute dear! He's definitely going to be a regular part of my team, useless special attack for PVE or otherwise!

I also have really gotten attached to my worm. My golden worm, as yet unnamed, did a whole lot of dungeon crawls with me, and I didn't much think that I would get so attached. But as of yet, I've been unable to bring myself to release it, even though I know for a fact I just can't drop the black Jormungar. I know that eventually he'll probably lose, but... it's just so *hard*!
