Some New Friends <3

So today I got into the car with my parents, my brother, his girlfriend and my boyfriend and drove 1.5 hours to a large city. Why? To visit a reptile and exotic pet expo of course! I havn't been to one since I was very little, so I was really excited to go to another. I was trying to convince my mom to let me get some sort of lizard or snake because I have an empty tank in my bedroom from when Chomper Cornellius (my cornsnake) passed away a few months ago, but she kept saying 'no no no'. We already have lots of pets, and I came to terms that I would just be looking at cool things today and not buying.
There were TONS of beautiful snakes, lizard, geckos, frogs, sugar gliders, spiders, scorpions, millipedes, turtles.. well... everything, there! It was a lot of fun walking around and looking at all the animals, and squeeing to my boyfriend about how friggin CUTE everything is.
Anyways, so I'm walking around wishing how I had money and a tank big enough for a bearded dragon or a tortoise, and I came across some Halloween Crabs. They were only $15. Bright red legs, purple claws, a black body and white and orange markings. SO CUTE! My boyfriend and I tracked down my mom to ask (because its polite, right?) and she cringed and said how they gross her right out. Well I ended up buying one anyways. His name is Henry Broxigar, aka Henry-Brox.
AND as a bonus, my parents ended up caving and buying two crested geckos, which they have wanted for a long time. They currently have no names, but they are both female are both ADORABLE! One has a big wide head with beautiful yellow skin and little dark spots, and the other has a light greyish body with red markings, and she turns darker at night. They are beautiful.
All three (and my turtle William, who was relocated to a bigger tank tonight) have been adjusting nicely to their new home. The tanks are only partially finished and we are going shopping tomorrow night for more accessories. The geckos are currently hanging upside down in their terrarium and Henry is chilling in a little burrow he dug.
I just wanted to share my story. No pictures yet because my internet is being dumb.. but I will take some nicer ones when my good camera is charged and post them!
It's been a good day!!
