Stuck for a name...

I need to stop collecting feline pets, I really do. But I've wanted the green and orange tiger since I first saw the silly thing, and finally gave in and tamed him. Looking at the model, I realized the cat's green, his stripes are orange, and his fangs are white - the colors of the flag of Ireland! So I'm looking for a good strong Irish name for my boy. If you could have spaces in your pet's name, I would have named him Big Fella after Irish revolutionary Michael Collins...but just running BigFella together wouldn't look right to me.

Any Irish historians or readers of Irish myths have any ideas?

Keane (Kean, Cian) is probably based on the Irish surname, Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Catháin ‘descendant of Cathán’, a personal name from a diminutive of cath ‘battle’. But it could also be a modern spelling of cian, meaning "ancient" or "long-lasting".
