As a fellow canadian and movie lover hearing this saddened me a great deal.

I may have to go out and rent some of my favorite movies of his sometime this week to remember this man.

I'm very sad to hear about this.
I've been his fan for a long time.
He changed the whole genre of Comedy, and his brilliant work will forever be missed, at least by me.

Oh no way! That's so sad to hear; I was beginning to think he'd last forever, considering his characters.

May he rest in peace.

Yes, it's to bad really. Who other then Shirley, er, Neelson makes such outrageous spoof movies? And no, those modern Scary Movie knockoffs don't count, the characters shouldn't be aware that they're in a spoof.

I'm a bit young so I may not know him well... But I swear I've heard his name a few times before. oO What movies did he do? I might've seen one.

Airplane!. Also, the Naked Gun series.
