Well.. its been.. almost 30 runs in the deadmines and I have yet to see either of them. Spent the entire day trying to grab one of these beauties on my main. My alt hunter got hers.. on the 8th run isnt that always the case now. I guess Ill try some more when I get back from group or something.

Are they really that hard to see spawn? I mean.. Ive got over 300 wool and linen, and would have had much more if I actually had bag space. Should bought my tabard to.. I could have been almost revered now lol.

Maybe Saon just got lucky when she saw hers.. and my npcscanner doesnt work.. its wierd.. (not it not up to date yes I have load out of date addons lol)

Haha, I just made a post about the Brilliant Macaw, it took me 21 runs to get it to show and I didn't see the albino one at all. So yeah they're pretty rare.

Sorry to hear about that. One idea would be to have a non-hunter friend (well, a friend who will be willing to let you tame a rare spawn) run through Deadmines at the same time as you, with both of you in separate instances. Thus, you can effectively double the number of runs you can do in an hour. If your friend has a rare spawn in one of his/her instances, then he or she is to stop killing things and inform you. You then run out of the entrance to Deadmines, reset all instances, have your friend send you an invite, then enter and race through Deadmines to tame your beauty! You'll probably be pretty jittery at this point, so it may be wise to unequip your ranged weapon

This is always a good idea. I was looking for old cliff jumper once and when i found him i hit the target button a few too many times and almost killed him in my excitement.
