Just fyi folks, if you are camping for a rare in the Old World, and you see it, do not hesitate in the tame

While questing in the Blasted Lands, I kept running across Grunter. Left him alone, ofc--unique skin, not interested. Then came Deathwing! BLAM. No more Grunter.

It will trigger spawn timers if they are up, it will wipe rares if they are up--along with everything else. So be aware, this may affect your camping trips

Well this just proves that Deathwing is a real man!

Yea everything dies and is engulfed in flames. Apparently, though after the initial kill the flames don't hurt people who wander though it. lol

Unfortuantely, I've not been able to catch this yet. I hope it continues after cataclysm hits. I'd like to see it for myself and not in videos at least once.

Deathwing doesn't discrimate! He's all for equal roasting rights.

Judging from the time he toasted me while I was farming for a black whelpling in the Wetlands, it seems like his flames are magically incapable of hurting black dragons, as all of the ebon whelps near me when it happened seemed to have survived. Everything else (Including the entirety of a nearby alliance outpost, save for a few NPCs in buildings) wasn't so lucky.

I was leveling my gnome priest in the Wetland when things got a red hue over everything, I thought that was odd, so I asked in general if things "tasted red?", then BAM!!!! first death! Achivment! Deathwing had killed me!!!! and I did notice a lack of life for a few minutes as everything respawned itself.

I went to tame one of the green Demon Hounds in Eastern Plaguelands when Deathwing showed up. I wanted to make sure I got the achievement, so I ran to a hill I saw him flying toward and practically jumped at his face. It was like that dude near the final scene of Reign of Fire when he jumps at the dragon with an axe only to get eaten.

I was one of (if not the) server first for this one. Questing in Arathi when suddenly everything went red. I complained on guild chat about having graphics problems (no, seriously) and then WHOOSH! *ding* "Stood In The Fire"

A friend of mine happened to comment that they had a vision of a hunter seeing his dream long-spawn rare, and starting the tame, and the sky going red....
