I had a guildie help and we both got the sunblade or blue dragonhawk. He said he wanted to stop by silvermoon and get the red dragonhawk. I've looked quite a few places and the silvermoon dragonhawk is listed as being tamable as of the last patch. Listed as in the ghost lands, and now also on wowhead as in blasted lands and desolace. From what I can see they are mounts.... and listed as not tamable when I was there. (or in person)
I know there is one in botanica (red dragon) , but why is the silvermoon listed as tamable? Are there some I've missed?

Assuming you mean the ones that are at the Silvermoon Flight Master, they used to be tameable. Last time I checked, they had been changed to untameable - I have no idea when or why the change was made. It's possible that Mania just doesn't know of the change. There's a huge amount of beasts in the game after all. ^^

Either those or others in ghostlands that are the red dragon hawk. Petopia has them as tamable, but some other sites do also. Such as the one below.

Both list a 65 elite- but the mounts I saw were 85. Either that or my laptop is getting smaller and I can't make out a 6 from and 8. Possible too!

I have yet to see one at level 65 when I was there a few days ago. I was hoping I didn't have to go into botanica to look for a red one. I have no idea where they are, nor does the guy who wanted it.

There's some level 8 red dragonhawks flying around near silvermoon city. You just keep heading through the ghostlands into the starting blood elf zone, I picked one up during the Turkey fest.

Can you post a screenie? I've only ever seen orange dragonhawks flying wild in Eversong Woods. Maybe this is a change that came with the new patch?

I think they probably meant the orange ones. They could look a bit red in some of the lighting.
