Useing the tame/abandon method I've tested Icepaw Bear (blue icey paws), Fern Feeder Moth (butterfly-like pollen) and Vicious Teromoth (blue mist aura). All of these kept their visual effects after taming, but lost them when they died. Not sure if someones already keeping track of stuff like this, but here ya are. :(

Edit--didn't see the "when they die" bit. Yeah, the post does specify (in giant bolded text) that certain pets (the non-underlined ones) will lose their buffs when tamed. See my list to check which ones do what!

Excellent find Dawson.
Lets go back to our Sherlock' Headquarters over here: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 82&start=0

In advance please read first :P
(Acherontia, he means they dissapear when the beasts die, we wrote that a hundred times in those guides)
No Problem though, good luck taming them

Just wanted to say that when I logged in this morning, my 2 headed spectral bird, did not have his buff. He definitely had it yesterday. Neither he or I had died, it's just gone. =/

Hmm, if you got the blue glow following one of the listed methods, then you did the tame correctly, so this looks like something to be on the lookout for with "special tames" (I think someone else mentioned encountering the same thing yesterday). :?

Thus far my arrakoa protector still has her glow...

Hmm, might need to test it on the Ashmane Boards - see if they keep their "smokiness".
Nevermind, just read the other post :)
